What to Do in St. Barths

  • Get to Know Gustavia

Start your day with a morning stroll around Gustavia, the island’s capital, and enjoy the charming scene, as well as a collection of shops and restaurants. Don’t hurry, you’re on island time now!
  • Fort Gustave

One of three forts built by the Swedish, this historic site has the ruins of a lighthouse and guardhouse, cisterns, and cannons. Here you’ll find a slice of the island’s history plus an unbeatable panoramic view.

  • Plage de Saline

A “supermodel” of a beach, Plage de Saline begs to be photographed, with its serene sea, gold sand stretch, and uninterrupted views. If it’s calm and tranquility you seek, this beach can’t be beat—but (not uncommon on the island) you find many tourists here may be sunbathing sans swimsuit.
