Check your bill before checking out ALWAYS!!
If you've had a previous stay at the Wynn and haven't checked your folio or bill, I'd recommend doing so from now on and double-checking everything. I've stayed here many times and barely checked my bill, as I trusted them not to screw up, but during my recent stay last August, I was charged $1026 for a 2-night stay and various mini-bar charges. It was supposed to be a complimentary stay, but I was charged, and my deposit was never returned. I only discovered the charges when I saw a payment on my bank statement from a card I barely use for big expenses. I spoke with the accounts receivable representative, Anita, but she was not helpful at all, acting as if I were making up stories and was unknowledgeable about what she was doing.

Relaxing excellence
Wynn hotel is sheer elegance comfort customer service at its highest the rooms are large and luxurious. The restaurants are superb and plenty of options. The Bbar serves the best old fashions in all Las Vegas.

Disappointment for first time
We have stayed at the Wynn many times. They have remodeled the rooms. The bathroom is not user friendly like it used to be. Example is tall shelves that look like storage shelves. They are very deep and therefore, difficult to reach anything in the back of the shelf. There is only one electrical plug on a side wall that is useful. Another plug is behind the shelves. Again, difficult to use. The mini-bar is not well designed either. The design of the remodel is not user friendly. Even though we had stated there many times, they were not flexible when we honestly made an error on the dates of our reservation. We had to pay way more for the room. We were stuck, so we had no choice. I will not be staying there again.

Fees and Mandatory Gratuity- Too many
Stayed at The Wynn Encore and was not that impressed. Two USB ports did not work on the desk and the TV in the bathroom had no power. First day there, I gave the concierge a handwritten note identifying these two issues. No one ever came to fix them. Additionally, they tack on fees and a mandatory 18% gratuity on everything, ended up hurting them because my husband and I always tip 20% or more. Note: people don’t want to be told how much to tip. Restaurants are great and most of the service. Think I’ll try another hotel next time.

Great Location
Great room (eventually). Good location and great food options. Vast Majority of staff are excellent (special mention to Michael on the front desk at night - superb service). Excellent amenities in and out of room. Onsite Chinese restaurants are excellent.
