    of hidden-door cocktail dens of yore. Balam, which
    translates to jaguar in Mayan, is a powerful spirit in the
    ancient Mayan tradition and a divine symbol of strength.
    This sense of strength and boldness comes to life through
    the creatively vibrant cocktail menu, which presents an
    insightful Mexican take on classic cocktail tradition.

    Relax at our coffee shop and enjoy quick bites & a juice bar.

    Café Inez is UNICO 20°87°’s take on café culture, offering guests an essential place to meet on property, or a quick stopover for bites between activities. It’s the perfect place to refuel, rejuvenate and recharge. Fresh smoothies, coffee, tea and baked goods are served in the morning while the menu transitions to sandwiches, paninis and meal-sized salads for lunch and dinner.

    This iconic Japanese yakitori & teppanyaki restaurant is guaranteed to please. 

    While Mura House draws flavors and techniques from Asia, with a concentration on Japan, its cuisine is guided by three principles: the harmony of flavor, precision through preparation, and quality of ingredients. The restaurant aims to achieve a balance between tradition and uniqueness by bringing together three different styles of Japanese cuisine-teppanyaki, yakitori, and sushi.

    Why We Keep Coming Back: Exceptional Service and Romance at Unico 2087

    This was our third visit to Unico 2087, and once again it delivered an extraordinary romantic escape! The service continues to be unmatched, our heartfelt thanks to Jazh and Eduardo, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect. We loved relaxing by the pool and beach, and the specialty restaurants were exceptional, especially the new French restaurant, Avec. We even made it to the well-equipped fitness center a couple of days. But the true highlight, as always, was the Mayan Romance Couples Spa treatment! It’s the reason we return time and again, an unforgettable experience that makes this resort feel like our own special sanctuary. Thank you, Unico 2087, for yet another memorable stay. We can’t wait to return!

    Amazing

    Amazing service! We had Alexander and Alejandro as our butlers and they both gave us outstanding service. Lucia was our waitress at the Legendary pool and boy did we get top notch service from her. Another shout out to Zahilis at Legendary services for going above and beyond the call of duty when we had a problem with our bill upon check out. She jumped right on it and got it taken care of. Can not say enough good things about our first experience at Unico as HOF members. Can’t wait to go back!!

    Amazing honeymoon

    Amazing resort. Staff, facilities and food were all fantastic. Would highly recommend. The ocean front room had great views. Booking restaurants and spa in advance is recommended.

    A great all inclusive beach vacation

    We’ve visited Unico 20°87° in Riviera Maya several times over the years, and this was truly one of our best stays. The food was excellent—especially the new French restaurant, Avec, which was a standout. Since it was Thanksgiving and the resort was likely at full capacity, seating and service were occasionally a bit slow, but still very good overall. Having butlers made getting pool chairs easy, though due to the holiday crowds, the chairs were placed quite close together. The beach was beautiful and completely free of seaweed, which was a huge plus. Our family loved the snorkeling excursion, the daily crafts, and the relaxing massages. Overall, Unico continues to impress, and this trip reminded us why we keep coming back. Highly recommend! A shout-out to our amazing butlers at Unico Riviera Maya—Eddie (Eduardo) and Roger—who made our experience truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and responsive. Every request we had—whether it was dinner reservations, golf bookings, excursions, seats by the pool or massages—was handled quickly and effortlessly. They consistently checked in to make sure our family had everything we needed and responded immediately to any issues. When our cabana was without power, Eddie personally came by to expedite the fix and made sure the problem was resolved without delay. Their professionalism and genuine care truly elevated our stay. We were extremely satisfied with the way they took care of our entire family, and we’re grateful for the exceptional service they provided. Highly recommend!
