My husband and I recently stayed at this resort and had an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was incredible—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. There was always a great variety, and you could truly taste the quality. The entertainment team was another highlight of the trip. They were energetic, fun, and constantly engaging guests with activities, shows, and great vibes throughout the day and evening. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. The staff overall were exceptional. Every person I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. From housekeeping to the restaurant staff to the front desk, everyone made me feel comfortable and taken care of. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable vacation. I will definitely be returning! 🌴✨

A 5-star experience and some of the best dining experiences we have ever had!
We found the food exceptional and the restaurants very nice. You do not need to worry about reservations. We never waited going around 6pm. We enjoyed the experience of dressing up to go to dinner. J Fro and Juian from the entertainment team were very personable and learned our names and I really had fun joining the activities. Their involvement with me and other guests made our experience more welcoming and FUN! We did spend the majority of our time on the beach. It was the best kept best compared to either side of the resort. The beach waiter staff were SO fun and quick at Bar Marlin. Ruben remembered us every day and made us smile and laugh. We appreciated him so much. Also thought Anthony, Jose V and Jaun were just as terrific at service. We found the Secrets gift shop had an amazing selection and much better price than even the duty free! The grounds were so well kept and beautiful at the resort. Our amazing experience at Secrets is the reason we will now look at booking only Secrets in future! More staff that made our experience SO memorable was Adrian at Bordeaux restaurant who was just so polite. We felt like royalty at his table and he made a swan from a napkin on our table with some rose petals. Oh my this was the best most romantic dinner we have ever had:) the bar we spent the most of our time at was show time bar. The bartenders who were so fantastic at serving were: Pio, Miguel, Dionicio, Aris, Pusol. Especially Mr. Julio who went above and beyond. He provided information, he got us into restaurants without waiting, he found us items we were looking for, and he served drinks quickly and like it was no effort. We enjoyed learning about Dominican culture through him. He is a memorable part of our experience and think he would make an amazing Butler on the preferred side!

Overall experience was good. Food and service is great. The rooms are a sheet of paper and can hear EVERYTHING in someone else’s room. It seems the rooms are conjoined and if you are not with the party in the other room you will hear all conversations etc. People like to play music loud at all times of the night. If you are going to relax make sure to be roomed next to older couples for peace and quiet. Entertainment is average. It has beautiful beaches and pools but have to get there very early to claim a spot because there are not enough space/seats for everyone. Going preferred has its advantages but not worth it.

Inexpensive Get Away
The resort over all was nice. Good location and airport transportation is easy. The ocean was not clean or clear, the resort did work to keep the beach nice. Beach volleyball as very nice. Activity pool we large and clean. ANGEL our server at the pool was amazing! If you go make sure and find him before you find your chair! Angel was the ONLY staff member that far excited our expectation. The activities in the main pool are lackluster at best and there is NO POOL floats & NO POOL VOLLEYBALL. Rooms are OK not high-end by any means. So if you are a resort room snob this is not your location. Overall our group of 8 had a very nice time. The staff is good but we have had much better elsewhere. Finish review is this resort is not one we will run back to.
