Beautiful location. The food was excellent. The room was lovely and kept very clean during our stay. The staff was attentive especially our concierge Benji. What a wonderful vacation.

Cool Place To Chill
Spent a week there in late November. Weather was nice, mostly a mix of sun and clouds. Only rained twice for 10 minutes in 7 days. Beach was gorgeous, restaurants and food were good. They had the tequila and scotch I drink at the bars, so was happy with that. Our butlers Demi & Manny took great care of us and helped us procure a few things we needed. Rest of the staff was great too. Overall it’s a great place to go if you don’t plan to leave the resort. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Exceptional. As I've come to expect from the Secrets Mexico brand which is why it is my choice for vacation. This time I visited with a girlfriend and we were so well looked after. Our butlers in PC B3 Rafa and Eddy were exceptional, thank you isn't enough, you guys were brilliant and will see you in March!! Love the PC amenities including the Seaside Grill breakfast (Edgar and Christian) and the pool ( Santiago our expert waiter/ Margarita maker and Josue our pool concierge, but not forgetting Victor x) We also enjoyed the complimentary hydrotherapy and spa experience. Beach was well tended although we didn't use the beds there. Occasional treats to return back to room from housekeeping, beds decorated with flowers x Weather not to bad, better than expected for November, although pools very cold, still don't understand why they aren't heated, everyone shocked to get in ? Met some lovely people, as you do. Overall it was a quieter vacation as my friend wanted to chill out and relax so can't comment on the entertainment although the highlight was twice at Casino Night, always good fun. It was nice to see the vegetation growing in abundance since my last visit in December 2024 although not as much wild life to wonder at in comparison to Akumal or Maroma. The big benefit for this location is the close proximity of everything. And yes once again, all and I mean ALL the staff there from gardeners on my early morning walks around resort to bar staff, waiters, housekeeping etc are exceptionally polite and welcoming, you walk around all day with a smile on your face in response. LUUUURVE this resort and back again in a few months, on count down already.

Overall, it hasn’t been as good as other resorts we’ve stayed in. The sales presentation was a particularly poor experience — it felt extremely forceful and we were kept there for nearly four hours, with the team refusing to let us leave despite us saying we weren’t interested. Service around the pool and in the restaurants has also been disappointing, with long waits, inconsistent attention, and staff seeming overwhelmed. The food has been one of the biggest let-downs. Several dishes have lacked flavour, come out lukewarm, or just haven’t matched the quality you’d expect from a resort in this price range. The drinks haven’t been much better — watery cocktails, limited options, and inconsistent quality depending on who is making them. Housekeeping hasn’t met the standard we’ve experienced at other Secrets resorts either. Bottles and glasses were left in the room even after turndown, when they should have been cleared during regular cleaning.
