Dec 11, 2025Elegance and decadence in Costa Mujeres!
Still feels brand new! A great relaxing couples retreat with top notch food, kind and caring staff and lots of amazing pools. Be sure to check out the bananas on the trees overhanging the jungle pools! Spent a lot of time on the sugar sand beach. Plenty to do and see!

Secrets Playa Blanca
Absolutely beautiful people and resort!! Could not be happier with our accommodations. We were upgraded as globalists to a preferred room high floor and were beyond satisfied!

Dec 11, 2025Enjoyable with a few missteps.
My husband and I were there the first week of December, we had a swim up room in building 9, which was convenient for restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. It was not the preferred, but we didn't feel deprived in any way. The swim up was ok, but how odd, just one lounge chair, and if you wanted to speak to your companion they were placed three feet behind you. The loungers were heavy therefore couldn't be moved nearer to the other seat. The pool was warm enough to swim in comfortably. We spent a few days at the beach and managed to get a spot in the shade, albeit one time very close to another couple, but it was the only shady spot left. We also spent time at the jungle pool, quiet, but after a few hours the music drove us mad, it was on a loop that kept on and on. Plenty of storage space in the room, I would have liked a line outside to dry swim suits in the sun, the one in the shower wasn't good because of the moist air. We found the air conditioning severe in the Market Cafe, and had to ask to be placed away from the vents. Great service from David and Ana in the Market Cafe. All the staff on the property were great and in fact walked us to where we wanted to go if we were uncertain of the way. I had taken two paperback books intending leaving them when finished, one concierge was kind enough to source some books that other guests had left, I would have liked a convenient common station where we could go and exchange books.

10/10 Resort & Staff!
My entire stay was perfect. The moment we entered the gate the staff was extremely attentive and so friendly. Manny was our butler and he went above and beyond. He found us in the pool to make sure he could help arrange our airport transfer for the next day. He was great! Eli at the pool was also fantastic. He ran over each morning to find us seats, clean sunglasses, and provide anything else we needed. The food was the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. And the rooms were spectacular. We couldn’t recommend this enough.

Secrets Playa Blanca costa Mujeres
We had a wonderful time a secrets playa Blanca costa Majeres. The hotel was very new and fresh. The service was impeccable. Food overall was good, but not really “fine dining”. But good, safe, very clean food. The room service was excellent and we used it a lot for breakfast. The could use boxed lunches for outside resort excursions. We played golf and took room service sandwiches with us. But, it was kind of pain. The were some very cool shows especially the indigenous Maya dances. We were there a for a wedding and it was a wonderful time. The pools were very fun. Overall, it was quiet except during party hours when the bars could be a bit raucous. But the resort, was very quiet at night. Great sleeping. We were never disturbed by noise at night by revelers. We had an upgraded room with the preferred club. While the difference in food and drink was modest, the room itself was great with outside balcony and tub that we loved. The room itself was well appointed, and lacked nothing. The biggest disappointment for us was the wine menus. Imports were ridiculously expensive, and the Mexican was…well, Mexican wine. We like a good bottle with a good meal and stopped trying. This did not ruin our time, but was kind of silly…next time we bring our own from airport duty free! Overall, we had a wonderful time at secrets playa Blanca costa Mujeres. The service was five star and the staff amazingly helpful and friendly. We’ll go back!
