Currently here and near the end of our 14 days and one of the best places we’ve been to, and at 63 there have been a lot. Done a few RIU hotels and this was the best ever. We should have been at the RIU Negril but got moved here and everything has been fantastic. Done the Italian restaurant 4 times, Krystal twice, Zen and Steakhouse once but booked in the latter before we go, doing Krystal and Italian again before we leave. No problems booking for a party of 4 although 2 rooms had to book separately but linked through the notes. Food in the buffet is good from breakfast to lunch and dinner. Big shout out to Jewar and especially Doneisha who were 2 of the nicest people you could meet. Bar staff are just brilliant, every single one. If a drink wasn’t listed they would knock it up. Always smiling and singing. Normally we are not keen on the entertainment provided but here it’s the team that just make things so special and fun. Genius, StringBean, DeNiro, Chocolatte and last but by no means least Astro (Jet2 boy lol) are a credit to RIU and made our holiday memorable. Apologies if I missed anybody, wouldn’t normally remember their names but here they won’t be forgotten. Cleaning staff, maids, security, lifeguards and receptionists all wonderful. Had my birthday here and was treated like a celebrity, even got a gift. Absolutely cannot fault this place and would be back in an instant.

What A Surprise
After my vacation was cancelled 3 times i was asked if i wanted to go to the Riu Palace Jamaica or cancel it . Well we choose to got to this hotel on December the 2nd till the 9th . We had an amazing week and could not be more happy with the decision we took . Check in did not take long and we where on our way to our room #3015 . Room was always kept clean from our maid who did a good job . Buffet always had something that we enjoyed from breakfast lunch and dinner . The a la carte restaurants . Krystal what can i say food was so tasty that especially the Octopus . Lady taking us to our table i can't remember her name what a nice lady she was along with the other servers . Steak house we had shrimp cocktail as a starter along with lobster yummy . Asian restaurant Zen this was a surprise for us don't know how this food was prepared but one thing is for sure it was amazing . We missed out on the Italian but who knows maybe that will make us go back to try it out lol . The thing that me and my wife enjoyed was to see how nice people working at the resort how polite they where when we asked for something thank you . Animation team what can i say they made sure that people had a good laugh with there crazy games . Snack bar was a great way to start the morning with a good coffee .Pool bar great drinks and a special thanks to Omar for making some lemon drinks as my wife would ask him . Lobby bar along with the Capuchino coffee where you can spend time at night time to relax before going to bed Would i go back to this resort again absolutely . Beach was the only thing that we did not enjoy and im sure we where not the only ones by seeing no one in the water most of the time . Other then that no complains from us as we sure had agreat tim eat the Riu Palace Jamaica .

A beautiful setting with amazing staff who can't do enough for you. Spent 2 weeks here and wanted for nothing. Quality of food was great, drink selection second to none and if it wasn't on the list they were happy to make them for you. We were well look ed after all week special mentions to the following: Audley - looked after us every morning and lunchtime, we'd no sooner sat down than our drinks were in front of us.. with a cheers every time. Winston - our pool bar/lobby bar guy.. another one that remembered us and knew what we wanted to drink. Kimberly - every afternoon, the best coffee and cake These guys are the reason we will definitely be coming back.

Best day of our lives, Get married at RIU Palace Jamaica
RIU Palace Jamaica thank you so much for making our wedding a memorable one. Nekeisha White and her team's efforts were noticed and made the day, literally the best day of our lives. Chef Cindy made spectacular food, which my guests said was the best wedding food they have ever had. The team at the spa were so accomodating of my last minute changes to the schedule. The cake was delicious and the flowers were gorgeous. The music was perfect, and just what we had planned. The staff were so fun and helpful. If you're looking for an easy fun wedding this is the spot for you. RIU Palace Jamaica will always have a special place in our hearts.

Stayed in the Reggae 3 years ago and enjoyed that so thought we’d upgrade this time and stay at the Palace. Hotel is very good, communal areas are always clean and tidy and the bars and restaurants are very good. Special mentions for Audley at the buffet restaurant for our breakfast and lunch, Winston for our drinks at the Hanover pool bar and the Aqua bar and finally Kimberley at cappuccino for our afternoon coffees. However, we did have some problems in regard to small items going missing from the room (charging cable and a pool dress) as well as a run in with reception over maintenance work being conducted from around 11:30 pm to 1 am. It was obvious that they were working in the room 2 doors down from us with drilling and hammering but when we complained the reception staff said it was essential maintenance in the kitchens and not on our floor, despite us seeing workmen in the room!! We didn’t let this spoil our stay and the hotel is overall very good, certain a la carte restaurants are good, can thoroughly recommend the seaside steakhouse and Krystal, the Italian is ok but a bit bland and we only visited the Chinese once, food wasn’t great and service wasn’t consistent with our experience in all the other eateries, maybe we caught them on a bad night. For a quiet relaxing break you can’t beat the palace
