Dec 10, 2025A wonderful week at the Melia Punta Cana
Had a wonderful week at the Melia Punta Cana. The grounds are beautiful as is the beach . We were on the level side and there were lots of shady areas under the palapas. The staff were very friendly and sweet. Our host Alejandro Estrella was very nice and it was nice to know we could count on him for anything that came up. I would recommend this place without hesitation. My only critique is towards guests that leave their towels on chairs and then leave . If everyone brought back their towels when they were finished with them there would be lots of available chairs on beach and pool.

Beautiful beach, beautiful resort campus, fun activities, very hospital staff. Would stay at Melia adults only again.

Macrame workshop was soooo good
I’ve had such a lovely time at Melia punta cana. The daytime activities are amazing. I especially enjoyed the macrame class. Was so much fun!!!!

What a Stay ...Such a Lovely place ...peace and Quiet ! The Concierge ( Frankeila Berroa ) WoW and all the staff very attentive ! Every one of the staff !( Rosa Del Rosario & Candida Manzanillo) main Bar such good Service ! All i can Say is ...We Will Be Back Soon ! Amazing Stauly

Dec 08, 2025Not safe for solo female travers
I recently stayed at this hotel as a solo female traveler, and my experience was severely undermined by what I consider to be major, non-negotiable safety and security hazards. The most critical issue is the entry doors to the rooms do not lock securely. This is an immediate and unacceptable security failure. The lock can be bypassed by employees. Late one evening, a male hotel employee entered my room without knocking. This was terrifying and a profound invasion of privacy. Unacceptable Staff Response: When I reported this breach of security and privacy, the staff's response was deeply alarming. I was told that employees have a "right" to enter guest rooms at any time because they work there and that I was "completely safe." I do not agree with this. After my complaint they offered to upgrade my room if I signed a disclosure saying I would not report this on reviews or social media. I refused. After that, the staff was rude, dismissive and made the entire experience a terrible one. Worst vacation I ever took.
