Oct 29, 2025Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service
We had a great time during our stay! The resort grounds were beautifully maintained, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room clean. We had one small issue, but it was promptly and professionally resolved by our concierge, Gerardo. While the buffet selection wasn’t as extensive as in previous years, the food quality remained consistently good. One suggestion would be to bring back the hand sanitizer stations in the buffet dining area—they’ve been available in the past and would be a welcome addition again. The specialty restaurants were fantastic! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, but what truly made the experience outstanding was the service. Veronica and Miguel were warm, welcoming, and always greeted us by name whenever they saw us throughout the day, which made us feel truly valued. Jorge Villa was also wonderful—attentive, personable, and clearly passionate about what he does. Servers Ian and Jorge also deserve recognition for their excellent service. We also want to mention buffet servers Anna, Rosa, and Sandra. Although we didn’t see them as often, their kindness stood out, and when Sandra served us on the beach one afternoon, it was the best beach service we had during our entire stay (We hung out on the beach at the North end of the resort). Finally, a very special thank you to our concierge, Gerardo. He went above and beyond every day to ensure we were having a great experience—always checking in, promptly addressing any needs, and taking the time to write handwritten thank you notes. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and the exceptional service from the staff truly made it memorable. We look forward to returning!

Oct 24, 2025Hotel is great, clean, staff is great. Food is terrible.
The hotel is nice, super clean, the staff is great and very accommodating. My only issue is the food and the beach towels. The food is absolutely awful. We have come to the Meliá for 13 years and each time it gets worse. Unfortunately food is a huge part of a vacation and the food here is just not tolerable anymore. Great place to stay but plan to eat out because the buffet is the worst and the “reservation” restaurants at the hotel are not much better. Also check the beach towels, we picked up “clean” beach towels at the counter that were not clean. One of the towels had a huge blood spot on it. Please fix the food. We love the hotel but will choose another resort next time due to the food.

Melia Cozumel, the best!
Everything here is just wonderful. Greeted with smiles and pampered like they do is just an experience worth repeating over and over,as much as possible. We love Melia Cozumel

Extremely family oriented. Very quiet and staff is incredible
This was our 6th time in Cozumel and our 5th time at Melia. My husband and I brought our kids for their first time ever this time. We love it every time we are here. Very family friendly and all staff treat you like family. The kids had a great time with Abril and Suzzy at kidsdom and we had great service from Rosa, Sandra, and Jorge. The Spa is always great every time with help from Janet and Angelica. We will be coming for years to come.

Incredible Service
Our family loves this resort. Service was incredible. Rosa at the pool and dinner waited on us a few times and was great at taken care of us. Jorge and Sandra in the buffet service waited on us and it was great.
