Dec 10, 2025Marriott Los Suenos and Piko Travel were a great combination!
The Marriott Los Suenos is a fantastic Marriott property! Beautifully located on the Central Pacific Coast, there is much to see. We were recognized as Marriott status members daily by the very attentive and professional staff. The service and attention to detail was fabulous. The rooms, pool, restaurants, and the swim up bar were all great. There were more restaurants here than at most Marriott properties, and they were all good. They even have a sushi bar in the lobby! We enjoyed renting a golf cart from the Marina Village close by and exploring the Los Suenos community in the golf cart. We also highly recommend Piko Travel (www.pikotravel.com) for your transfers to/from SJO Airport—very affordable and it’s a private transport in a nice van…..they were on time and highly professional. We also used Piko Travel for 5 different excursions we booked while there, and they were fantastic. This company if family owned and small and they really gave us the authentic Costa Rican experience. We did the Organic Coffee Farm Tour, ATV Tour, Mangrove Kayak Tour, and private guide tours of Manual Antonio Park and Carara National Park. We already have booked ourselves to come back next year and plan to use them again, as well as staying at the Marriott Los Suenos. Pure Vida!

Paradise
This Marriott is between the jungle and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. We started our trip with Piko Travel. Seamless connection at SJO with transportation to/ from airport to Marriott Los Suenos ( best price around). We also booked daily tours and in town trips for groceries and dinner dates. Piko Travel hooked us up with everything we could desire. They were top notch in dinner suggestions and booked private guide who did flips and flops to make our tour of Nature Park better than we could have imagined! Thank you to Piko and his crew to make our trip a once in a lifetime! Thank you Piko and crew for best trip to Costa Rica!

Nov 29, 2025Worst experience ever!!!
As we check-in, the front desk tells us that we didn’t pay for the 3rd person in the room which we did. We show them our invoice from the travel company. They drop the charges. When we check out we Ask what’s our current balance and they say it’s zero. When we get to the airport we get an alert from our bank for charges from the hotel ($370.00). When we call to see what the charges are for they say it’s for the 3rd person in the room. We spend so much time and aggravation over the next few weeks trying to resolve this issue. I would never stay at a Marriott hotel again…they are scamming people out of their money. Check your receipts!!! I have travel all over the world and never had charges applied to my credit card after checking out of a hotel….

Excellently located, by the beach. Good vibes atmosphere. Rooms are spacious. Because of where the resort is located it is a fair value, The hotel is maintained and high standards of cleanliness. The rooms are not totally sound proof because if other customers moved their chairs I could hear them. Service is good and amenities are very good. I had a wonderful stay at the resort, and enjoyed the complimentary activities offered. Housekeeping were excellent and sweet with the kind messages they left in my room. I particularly enjoyed interacting with the staff who served in Hacienda Kitchen for the breakfast, as they treated me like family. I am particularly grateful to Guiselle, Wendy, Kurinda, Liliana, Erik, Oscar, Fernando, Steve, Yancy, Dayana, Osvaldo. And from Concierge Jorge, Gredy, Pamela, and others I have forgotten. I would recommend this resort.

Family vacay
We had a great time at this resort. The pool is huge and brunch waa amazing. I'll have to visit again, only not during rainy season next time
