Krystal Grand is a great resort if you are looking for a quiet place to relax. Upgrade to their altitude tier for the ultimate treatment. They have a great spa the bartenders are great and the food is above average but what really set it apart from other resorts for us was the service we received from Alexandro Nava and his partner Arturo Alvardro. Each morning we were greeted with a smile coffee a mimosa laughter and a great time. They made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They truly set themselves apart from the rest of the staff.

Aug 23, 2025Trust me, just don’t!!
This place should have less than 3 stars for its overall review. This resort is open to the public, so you have all kinds of people coming and going. This didn’t make us feel very safe. Localized events being hosted as well, which to us - took away any decent service in other areas, because they were catering the party rather than its guests. Our safe was broken and they sent all kinds of different people at all different times to come and fix it. Our door lock was broken, that also took time to fix. Phone didn’t work and the front desk did nothing - as to be expected. All the water activities they host speak only Spanish, to cater to the locals rather than the tourists. The food was by far the worst I’ve ever encountered at any Mexican resort and the rooms were nothing like they are shown on the website. They are horribly filthy and the resort accepts no accountability for this, which is awful. Garbage we saw the night before was still there the next morning. Complained to Westjet and asked them to audit the resort because it shouldn’t have the ratings it should. WJ, nor the resort held any accountability either, so warning others is the least I can do to prevent anyone else from wasting their money, like we did. Sales people just steps away from the resort trying to get you to come next door resort for time share buying or “just a breakfast” as they say! So very annoying! On our last day leaving, there was a staff member puking in the bush, so that was also lovely. I’m pretty easy to please as a vacationer but this was a terrible place to go. We met some other guests while visiting there and they too were appalled. Go anywhere BUT here! You’ll thank me! 👎🏻👎🏻 PS. Pics provided of our room upon checking in!

We got there and we have to wait for couple of hours to have our luggage dropped off. Got there used the washroom and found out that the shower light bulb is not working. Booked the room for two and 1 set of towel and 1 glass only & the safe is broken. Phoned concierge and the maintenance showed up & looked after the problem. All good in the same day. Some parents chose to hide there kids from the security & disrespecting the rules of the adult pool. I would say that we enjoyed the pleasure of having the best servers “ Buffet O” Arturo, Miguel, Alejandro. Naumi pool site kitchen. Daniel pool security.

Great service at Krystal Grand Hotel 2
We had a great time. The swim up pool was great to have attached to the rooms. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. I would like to give a shout out to Alerondro Nava, Alejondra Val Divia and Juan Michel for their excellent service. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The staff are the stars.
Our time here was wonderful. The staff really are the stars of this resort. Aleiandro Nava and Juan Antonio in the buffet were amazing. Rapheal at the bar was exceptional. Thank you all for a wonderful time.
