The IHG was a classy experience due mostly to the staff, room amenities, and great breakfast. Clean, comfortable beds, great towels, nice sized room. We had a health issue and the staff at IHG were fabulous. The hotel is a bit further from the center of town, but that proved not to be a hinderance. Across from a park, near to the start of the hop on- hop off buses, and close to a neighborhood for that local experience. The IHG is not the typical hotel stay I would choose, preferring the boutique/local experience, but we are glad we stayed here.

All staff - from reception, restaurant staff (breakfast & Alka), concierge and housekeeping was superb. My room 1222 had a riverview, I woke up to a gorgeous sunrise every morning. Turndown service in the evening transformed the room into a relaxing atmosphere. Special thanks to Diana at front desk, Francisco at Alka Restaurant, Wanda & Joac at breakfast, and the evening housekeeper with a beautiful smile from Bangladesh.

I would stay again for business and pleasure!
Great stay and location. Enjoyed premium room on 16th floor, with view overlooking city and park. Breakfast buffet offered an enormous variety of food. The restaurant at breakfast is very busy but the head woman Maitre d' handles getting everyone seated with a smile and even helps wait staff when needed. Front desk and Bellman staff very accommodating and helpful. Although not in old town, easy to get around town from this location and Uber drives are so reasonable in Lisbon too. Enjoyed Afternoon Tea next door at The Ritz one day and another big reason I chose The Intercontinental Lisbon Hotel.

Traveling to Lisbon with family
My family which included our son, his wife, our grandsons (2 & 4), our daughter and my wife just returned from this hotel which we used as pre and post cruise home. The location was perfect, service seamless and food delicious. My concern was staying at this five start hotel with the young boys. The staff at the hotel went out of their way to pamper the boys with high fives, always saying hello using their names and extended patience in all instances. We returned to the hotel after a day of touring stopping by the hotel restaurant for a quick dinner. They recognized the realities of two young boys and deliver cheese burgers, fries and desert in record time. It was a team effort. Highly recommend the hotel if you travel to Lisbon.

It was a good stay at the Intercontinental. The room was lovely and spotless, the location was good but slightly further out from the main part of town but still good. We were disappointed by the breakfast, it was below average from what is expected from this level of hotel and not worth paying extra for, we had pre-paid for breakfast and were very let down. We were looking forward to using the terrace for views over Lisbon but this was shut and we could not access which was a shame. Overall a good stay but maybe not worth the price point.
