  My experience at Secrets Moxche Playa del Carmen was amazing. This is my first time in Mexico and they made their experience more than outstanding. All the staff members greeted and were welcoming and always had a smile. The atmosphere and ambience of the Resort was top-tier. I personally like the design aesthetic of the wood in dark tower work in the rooms and throughout the hotel. All the Greenery was a nice touch as well.

  Magical for our honeymoon.

  Would tell anyone to go. The night and day time activities were a can’t miss. The place is magical. Everything from food to building architecture design was first class.

  Spectacular resort with even better staff!

  This was our fourth visit to Secrets Moxche and having love our previous trips so much, we brought a group of family with us this trip. The resort was as spectacular and immediately wowed every member of our group upon arrival and continued throughout the week with everything the experienced. We all loved the simple layout and beautiful lagoon pool area! The other numerous pool options are also great. The preferred Observatory area is fantastic with breathtaking views. We loved our evenings spent at the Dark Horse, loved popping into the Coco Café for ice cream and treats, and also enjoyed having the options of the crepe and taco stand outside almost every evening. One of our favorite experiences of the week was the Roads Through Mexico experience. This is one of the favorite experiences for our entire group. It was a unique and memorable event with excellent food and entertainment! We also loved the other evening entertainment options, especially Quirky. One of the first staff interactions when arriving at the resort was with the bellman that took our luggage and escorted us to check-in. They welcomed us “home” and immediately made us all feel great. It was a great first impression of the wonderful staff that we experienced throughout the rest of the week. Our next interaction was with Daniel at check-in. He has checked us in during our previous stays and seemed to remember us. He had a great personality and took the time to chat with us and made us feel welcome back “home.” Daniel is great!! Alfredo was our server at the lagoon pool area. He was great! He had a wonderful personality and was very attentive. He continually checked on our entire group and made sure we were all okay. Several times without asking him to do so, he waded out into the lagoon to take a drink order or bring a drink that he was refilling. He was awesome and one of the best folks we encountered throughout the week. He always had a smile on his face and seemed to really love what he does and did a great job at making everyone feel special. Fanny is another server that we love. She is beyond amazing! We had stayed in touch from the last visit to Moxche and messaged her when we booked this return trip. Even before we had landed in Cancun she had messaged us asking when we were going to be getting to the resort. We hadn’t reminded her that we were coming. She had simply remembered from our previous chat and kept track. Then even though she was not stationed in the lagoon pool are where we stay, she came and sought us out almost every day to say hello and take time to chat. She has a great personality and made us feel like long-time friends. We were sad that she could not be our server at the lagoon area and spend time with us. Fanny is an exceptional server and an even better person. We love Fanny! While at the lagoon pool, David was our pool concierge and his awesome personality was infectious. He made us smile every time he walked by with his catch phrase, “Okey Dokey”. He was so attentive and always made sure we had what we needed and our umbrella was positioned for the best shade coverage. He was so hard working too. He was constantly going from one side of the lagoon to the other making sure everyone was taken care of. He was a great addition to our time at the lagoon pool! Uziel is the best of the entertainment staff! He is now a supervisor and one that we became really close with on our previous visits. He made sure to find us when we got to the resort. He has an amazing personality - continually joking around and making us laugh. Nearly every day he came around the lagoon pool area where we sat to say hello and introduce other entertainment team members. We absolutely loved the time we spent talking with Uziel and his team and kept an eye out for them every day. Uziel introduced us to a wonderful member of his team, Christian and he sat and made key chains right at our lounge chair. This was an awesome touch and made us feel very appreciated. Kudos to whoever manages the entertainment team. Just because we don’t actively participate in activities, doesn’t mean we don’t want to meet the entertainment staff and support those who do participate. The entertainment team is just another difference that sets Moxche aside from other locations! Other entertainment team members that we met during our first trips & loved spending more time with this trip was Aranza, Carlos, and Jazmin. They are all so special and greeted us as members of the family when we saw them. These people feel like family and we miss them the most out of everything!They all added so much enjoyment to our trip, best entertainment team ever! We went to the Observatory several times for both breakfast and lunch. During breakfast we had several amazing servers. Karlita, Yesenia, and Rudy were all so fantastic. Specifically, Karlita made an extra effort to engage us in some way every time we came to the Observatory. Yesenia is very sweet too. Rudy was also fantastic! He engaged us and just made us smile. We loved the views from the Observatory in the mornings and the breakfast was great, but having that amazing service staff wait on us made our time there even more special. Another individual that we encountered at the Observatory was the bar tender, Fransciso. He was so fun to be around and had a great personality. Not only did the Observatory have a fantastic view, but the food was just as good! The food, pool, view, and service were the best we’ve experienced anywhere! Bisou was great. First, we loved the food. This is one of our favorite restaurants. The beef wellington and the duck are great dishes! We also ate at Dos Almas. Our server Eladio was fantastic. We weren’t sure what to order and he took the time to stand at our table and recommend different dishes for us. We also were in the mood to try a different drink with dinner and he explained the different options and recommended specific drinks for what we were kind of craving. The food was really good and he made our experience at Dos Almas extra special. Another exceptional experience was at Allora. We loved the food and the exceptional service. Basilio was our server there and he was absolutely fantastic. He took time to discuss our dish selections and from his recommendations we ordered some awesome dishes that we loved. We had no worries about food allergies with the entire wait staff throughout the week. Everyone asked at every single seating and we trusted them completely. We loved Secrets Moxche. It’s really hard to rank the all-inclusive resorts we’ve been to because they all offer something different. Secrets Moxche has the best pools, preferred area, entertainment team, and arguably the best food (my wife’s opinion) that we’ve had. The only thing that was a small disappointment is the beach but we knew what to expect going in. There’s nothing the resort can do about the seagrass but they did everything possible to keep it clean. We planned to go in anyway but the smell was a little strong. Just a few other random comments – the walkways are all uneven. There was a weird groan coming from the plumbing in our room continually. The door to our room didn’t shut. We came back to the room several times and the door was ajar from where the cleaning or bar service folks had been in the room. There were a few other things worth mentioning – the beef wellington, creme brulee, ravioli (all at Bisou), carrot cake, cheeseburger, fries, breakfast birria, waffles, pancakes, muesli, and cheesecake from the Observatory were all fantastic. The food at the Observatory was great for both breakfast and lunch and Bisou was our favorite dinner. This resort is fantastic but in our opinion, all of the people we met and grew to love are the reason we cannot wait to return! We cannot wait to be welcomed home again soon. This is definitely one of our favorites and the people that work there are top notch.

  Everyone is so nice and fun to talk to!

  Everyone was so nice. Sergio Gabbie Arrie They were so fun to talk to and so welcoming! They walked around and were so easy to talk to and they were so funny! Definitely enjoyed conversing with them!
