A week to remember at Ziva, Los Cabos
I don’t usually write travel reviews, but I felt I had to after our first visit to the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and check‑in was quick and easy. I wish I remembered the name of the front desk agent, but even without that detail, our first night was restful and the room was very comfortable. The next day we ran into a small issue with the room. I went down to the lobby to mention it and that’s when I met Uriel, the chief concierge. He didn’t hesitate—he arranged a room change right away, and it turned out to be an upgrade. That was great, but honestly, what mattered more was how he looked after us for the rest of the trip. Every day he checked in, asked if we needed anything, and made it clear he was there to help with dining or activities. His kindness and genuine interest in our stay made the vacation unforgettable. Thank you, Uriel! The rest of the staff were also wonderful. I can’t remember everyone’s names, but a few stand out: Alejandro, the poolside server who was always attentive and remembered our names; Margarita, the friendly host at La Plaza; and Roberto, who served us at Farina E Olio. At Mahika, the food was outstanding—some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in years. The manager (sadly I don’t recall his name) made sure we had a special evening, and David, our server, was cheerful and funny. Overall, the food at the resort was excellent. We didn’t try every restaurant, but the ones we did were consistently good. It was easy to overindulge, but the gym was amazing—great equipment and plenty of space. I spent about two hours a day working out, which balanced things nicely. We also enjoyed relaxing by the pools, chatting with other guests, and walking along the long sandy beach. The resort really caters to all ages. It was heartwarming to see families with grandparents, parents, and kids all enjoying themselves together. In closing, I’d definitely recommend the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos. Wherever you stay, whether here or elsewhere, remember to appreciate the people you meet and not stress too much about small inconveniences. The connections you make with the wonderful people of Los Cabos are what truly make the trip special.

Excellence hotel
Just got back from a trip to Los Cabos Ziva. This hotel is excellence choice we made. The lobby is beautiful with Christmas decorations. The employees are welcoming and nice, made us feel like we were special guests. The restaurants very nice, we really love French restaurant. It's too bad, that there's not much to do around Los Cabos with foot traffic, otherwise we could explore more to see more local activities. The beach is clean & nice, but not swimable.

Nice Stay - They do a good job to make your vacation stay fun and pleasant.
This is my second Hyatt Ziva visit and like the all inclusive even though I tend to eat half my meals away from the property. Appreciate the convenience of the 24 hour coffee and snack shop. They have an adults only pool which is nice. Evening entertainment fun. Nice beach to walk as well and I found the walk to the town square more preferable then bothering with the car. Property is well maintained with attentive and friendly staff. Nicest hotel gym I have ever utilized and was greatly appreciated. Also stayed at Puerto Vallarta Ziva before which had one up on the Mexican Food and seaside dining. However, overall friendliness and sincerity of the staff, although good at both, wins at the Cabo location.

Great host, Mediocre Resort.
While the rating is for the resort as a whole I am only writing about our host Ricardo (Ric). He is in a word, ‘fantastic.” Either because of my globalist status or the room types we booked, we were assigned a host/butler to assist us with whatever we needed while on property. We visited over a holiday week and the resort was at or near full occupancy. Somehow he was able to arrange reservations for us at the restaurants we desired and counseled us on where to go when we left the property. He also arranged for other onsite services as requested and advised us about the best things to do at the property. Even on his day off he would text us with the itinerary of events for the day and who to talk to if we needed anything. We had a few problems with the resort but not with Ric. He made the trip a success. In the event hotel management responds to this review to tell the community how they tried to or did rectify the main problem. Don’t believe them. They did a bad job. In fact, when I was leaving they were encouraging me to write a review which tells me how clueless they are. Again, this has no reflection on Ric who is a champ. He was not on property and even if he had been this was not an area under his purview.
