My family and I went on vacation and to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we stayed 4 nights at the Hyatt and couldn't have been happier with their services and amenities.

First time visit, but won’t be the last!🩷
Visited with a friend to celebrate her birthday here for 4 days before island hopping to Isla Baru. Great property, excellent service and amenities, and the hotel restaurants were good. But the REAL winner is the location!! Close to everything - the Walled City, Getsemani, shopping, and local restaurants. Hyatt’s location is on the main boulevard in Bocagrande and there is a local beach right across the street. Nothing is more than a 10-15 minute walk away. Easy to grab a taxi when it’s too hot. The spa treatment/massage was EXCELLENT!

Amazing stay
I had an amazing time. I usually stay in the walled city when I visit Cartagena but this visit to Bocagrande was amazing. The hotel is centrally located to other restaurants and shops and the design and service were impeccable. The staff really went above and beyond.

Third time in Cartagena....but 1st time we stayed outside the old walled city. The hotel is nice, but....we found ourselves using Uber twice daily back and forth to areas of interest. We didn't feel safe walking to the old city due to amount of vendors intercepting us along the route ...and the number of persons loitering watching us walk by. So "Ubering" back and forth added up cost and time wise....verses...just stepping out of your hotel in the old city. ( the locals told us to avoid the taxi's because they take advantage of tourists) We are not sure we'd stay in Bocagrande area again. Be ready to sweat wherever you stay...the A/C isn't up to U.S. standards and even in the compartively newer Hyatt...it was warm.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency Cartagena. Yercelis and Natalia provided incredible hospitality services and their level of professionalism exceeded expectations. Belky was also great and very friendly.
