It's fine, but the small things drag it down
The pluses: 1) Good location near both business district and the quarter. Both are easily walkable or there is a streetcar stop not far away. 2) My bed was comfortable and the room typical. 3) There was a person serving samples of complimentary gumbo after checking in. The minuses: 1) Check in took me over 20 minutes to wait in line. They have a queued area, so this must be fairly common. Not a huge deal, but after waiting in lines all day to travel here, it might be nice to reinvent the check in process. 2) The fees. $25 daily amenity fee. $12 a day if you just want to use the hotel gym. To me, that's not cool. Feels like junk fees - access to a hotel gym is an expectation for me. 3) The robo-chat feature on their "text us" isn't helpful. It just gives you generic responses that dont answer the actual question I was asking. Would I stay here again? Probably not. There are several other good options nearby.

They need some work to make this hotel worth the price
Overall Rating: 1.5 Stars We started our stay with high hopes and a 5-star mindset, but unfortunately, several issues throughout the week brought that rating down. Here's a breakdown: 🧹 Housekeeping Department — Minus 1 Star Cleaning was poorly scheduled. We’d leave at 8 AM and return around 4:30–5:00 PM, only to find our room untouched. One evening at 6 PM, we had to go to the front desk to request basic cleaning and fresh towels. Speaking of towels—the smell was awful. They reeked of something musty or sour, possibly a storage issue. Definitely not what you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. 🧼 Housekeepers — Minus 1 Star We’re generous tippers, but the service didn’t meet even basic expectations. In 9 days, our in-room coffee was replenished only once. We ended up buying coffee from Starbucks. Trash cans weren’t emptied daily, even when full. The bathtub stopper was broken. Instead of fixing it, staff simply removed it and left it aside. My husband ended up finding a gasket on the ground and fixed it himself. Not ideal. ☕ Starbucks On-Site — Minus 0.5 Star My go-to drink, Chai Tea, was out of stock from Saturday through the end of our stay (a full week). It was never replenished. 🧳 Hilton Honors Sales Team — Minus 0.5 Star We were approached multiple times daily about vacation packages, even after politely declining. It was disruptive. To their credit, they were friendly and gave us good restaurant recommendations. 🏨 Hotel Experience — Minus 1 Star The hotel itself was lovely, but the TV that displayed the hotel layout was outdated and hard to read. No maps in the rooms either, which made navigating difficult. The revolving door malfunctioned while I was walking through it—it stopped abruptly and I ran into the glass. Then it randomly started again. There was a marketplace between buildings 2 and 3 that took up space but wasn’t open during our stay. For the price we paid, the value just wasn’t there. On the bright side, all staff members were friendly and helpful. 🌟 Concierge Services — Plus 0.5 Star We interacted with two concierges. The first didn’t have a map and wasn’t particularly helpful. The second, Terri, was phenomenal. She gave us excellent recommendations, shared local history, and provided maps. Her enthusiasm and professionalism truly elevated our experience. If everyone took pride in their work like Terri, the world would be a better place. Despite the challenges, Terri’s exceptional service was a highlight. Unfortunately, the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations.

The King room was clean and spacious. House Keeping was so on their game.
3/5 - My stay began with a multiple tour of standing in the check in line. I unexpectedly had to swipe my debit card for $100 deposit plus $50 on another card for parking. My room was great. The room was cleaned and housekeeping cleaned twice on Saturday. The maintenance and housekeeping staff were very friendly. They offered text check out worked smoothly. The parking attendant was able to help verify that I had prepaid for parking. On Tuesday I received a notification from my bank that reflected an additional $98.38charge to my debit card. I booked through a 3rd party site and they said $40 was parking and $58.38 was for luxury fees. So I unexpectedly paid $43 a night 🤓

Nagmani Mangipudi
My wife and I stayed at the hotel on August 22, 2025 until August 24, 2025 in room 2043. The Guest Services Supervisor; Nagmani Mangipudi was very attentive to needs of my wife and I and went out of her way to make our visit most enjoyable. She pointed out parking tips and good places to dine. Ms. Mangipudi also pointed out all hotel amenities that were available to my wife and I and just made our stay excellent.

A short walk from everything French Quarter!
This is our third time staying at this hotel while in New Orleans. Always, always pleased with everything. It’s phenomenally clean. It’s in an excellent location and just a few minutes walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The aspect of 50.00 per night parking is a bit of a stretch, in my opinion. I don’t understand that part, as it’s a complete waste of money for guest staying there. I would like to see it a whole lot cheaper. Other than the parking, I highly recommend you staying at this hotel, as Hilton does very well.
