Dec 06, 2025High hopes with sad results
The best part of our entire stay was Alexander (at the beach). He was attentive and quick at setting up our beach umbrellas, even making the rounds to fix the tilt and positioning so we would not get sunburned. He was polite, funny, and overall pleasant company. The negative…traveled with 1 preteen (12 y.o) and 1 teen (16 y.o) and they were BORED. The pool table by the bar was always in use (sometimes monopolized by people who had no courtesy to let others play) and the one table in the game room was not enough for all the kids wanting to play. There were 2 foosball tables in the game room, 1 of which had no ball to play with. Again, a lot of waiting around for a turn. The arcade machines (5 total) were outdated and for our entire stay (7 nights), 2 were out of order. The escape room on-site is an additional cost ($45 pp). The nightly entertainment/show was loud but meh. The elevators were a disaster the entire week we were there. One was completely shut down and boarded up, with daily pounding and drilling happening behind the scenes as they tried to fix whatever issue it was having. The other elevator seemed to go on strike frequently (probably from being overused to make up for the broken one). We would have to walk to the other side of the floor to get to the other elevator bank. Not the end of the world, but definitely an inconvenience and not up to par for the price we paid to stay at this hotel. The food was hit or miss. My kids liked the pizza from the snack bar best. The buffet had limited options so we made it a point to make reservations at each of the 4 restaurants for dinner. Oddly, the first time we ate at each one we were happy with the food, but at our second visit, even if we ordered the same meal as the first time, it was not as good. Overall, would not stay here again. We had high hopes (having stayed and loved the Hard Rock in Puerto Vallarta) but were sadly disappointed.

What an amazing time, can’t wait to go back. Luis and Roberto made the week so amazing. They were so tentative to our group of 26. Definitely coming back because of them!

If you’re looking for a good location in Cancún that is easy to get to from the airport with great energy this is it!
My wife and I booked a last-minute trip for Thanksgiving. We were definitely welcomed by the group at hard rock like always check-in was very easy. Our room was in a great location, everybody from our butlers Luis and Roberto to the legendary staff along with bartenders waiters and waitresses everybody makes you feel like family. It’s one of the things we love about the hard rock group and about Mexico. The location for this hotel is absolutely beautiful. It’s easy to get to and from the airport. This is one of hard rocks, older locations. It is starting to show its age a little bit, but the hard rock group is remodeling and the stuff that has been done so far looks amazing. We will definitely be back in the future anybody looking for a simple resort to get to from the airport with amazing staff from front of the house to back of the house. This is somewhere that you need to consider the energy and feeling of the hard rock is felt through the entire property.

Perfect Butler's. Luis and Roberto!!!!
Luis and Roberto were AMAZING butler's! Everything was fabulous 👌 they were friendly, very quick to help with any and everything, super nice guys! They made our vacation stress-free and full of relaxation! Responded very quickly and went out of their way to make everything perfect!!!! Wonderful week spent with these two guys!!! Can't wait to vacation with them again !!!!!

Great customer service
The entire experience is always great at Hardrock Cancun. The service is the ultimate of any resort I've been to. We had a group of 26 friends and we all got the red carpet from our Butler Luis, Housekeeping, pool service, bar/restaurant service, everything from check in to check out . Definitely get more than your money worth. Had little elevator construction going on but no big delays.
