Dec 09, 2025No one with a medical condition should ever consider staying here.
I was traveling with my type 1 diabetic daughter for a wedding. At check in I requested to have juice available in our room in case she had a low blood sugar. They said they didn’t accommodate that. Said we should go to the bar and ask them. The next day I requested again from someone else to have juice. They finally gave us jumex juice. This ended up making her very ill because of the high fructose sugar. We had to miss the wedding because of how sick she was. I requested a doctor that never came. I couldn’t even make a call from our phone because it would not dial extension. So god forbid there was an extreme emergency we would have been SOL.

Terrible service, would not recommend staying
Awful service, terrible food. The time share people stalk you even if you say no. The staff is only nice if you tip them. Pool is fine.

Mold/chemical filled rooms
They refused to fix the mold smelling/leaking room they put us in. Instead got an air freshener. As soon as we did not sign up for the rewards program we were treated like second class citizens, including getting kicked out of the restaurant that was a part of our friends wedding party. DO NOT STAY HERE

We have had the best holiday at the resort! We were a little worried before arriving as we were told there was work being done, but it didn’t affect us in the slightest and there was even a road being built right outside our block. The facilities are always clean and tidy, staff always polite and friendly. I honestly have no complaints. Naming specific members of staff from our two weeks: Roberto bus driver - very funny and friendly. Tequila offered on the bus is always a good sign for me! Daniel and Guadalupe on the front desk very friendly and helpful Daniel in bamboo could not do enough for us Marco and Edy in the Italian restaurant were both incredible. Edy was refreshing our drinks before we had a chance to ask. Manuel in the Brazilian restaurant is very funny, very attentive. Iturbides and Andres in Piacere (the coffee shop) are both divine. Very friendly, incredible quality of drinks. Thank you both!

Great Stay
Hotel was excellent and we went in October was quiet and relaxed with plenty to keep you busy - special shoutout to the pool laguna bar people Gloria, Yordi and Lisandro who kept us very hydrated! Aha till next time 😊
