- Evening receptionEvening reception is back and they are now serving drinks. Hotel has expanded the hours to allow for a safer environment (no large gathering) and to allow guests to redeem their drink coupons during a longer timeframe. Each registered guest will receive 2 drink coupons per day upon check-in. I’ve stayed at many Embassy Suites locations, but this one truly stood out because of Otto. He’s hands-down the best server I’ve ever had at any hotel pool. His attention to detail, friendliness, and speed made the entire experience unforgettable. Otto anticipated what we needed before we even asked, checked on us consistently, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Service like this is rare—he set the standard for what great hospitality should look like. If you’re staying here, make sure to spend time at the pool and hope you get Otto. Absolutely top-tier service.

Embassy Suites Waikiki-excellent stay!
Hotel was very nice, clean! The staff were very friendly and helpful! Pool and hot tub areas were beautiful. Buffett and evening reception were the best! Great location for pickups and excursions. Shachan (housekeeping services) Was the best!

Wonderful Family Stay
Alaine was so gracious and provided us with outstanding customer service when we checked in. This was our first time at this hotel and just love it. We will certainly come back again. Everyone from Alaine to Dennis at the Pakini Bar by the pool to the chef who made our omelet for breakfast were fabulous.

Nov 23, 2025Convenient place to stay by Waikiki Beach
This really is a convenient, fantastic hotel. It is so close to the beach, a beach that doesn’t seem as crowded as other areas might be as it is in front of the Army museum. As diamond members we were upgraded to a beautiful corner room. We had beautiful views. We did not take advantage of the pool cabana offered to us. There is quite a full breakfast offered with made to order omelettes included. If there’s any reason I dinged from five stars to four stars it is because being such a popular and huge hotel, the breakfast is most of the time a circus of people and families. This is the perfect place for family to stay for a week as there are two rooms perfect for a couple and the kids, and there is always microwave sink refrigerator included to half meals up in the room if you wish. For us as a couple who like a quiet breakfast we found going at 6:30 AM was a good time to have ease of navigation and some peacefulness. In the early evening there are chips and veggies +2 free drink tickets, which we did not use because we don’t drink alcohol. But it’s a nice venue to sit and chat. All staff that we had contact with at this hotel were exceptionally helpful and kind and friendly.

Amazing
All the staff. Was amazing from the breakfast staff to the evening reception staff as a well as the pool towel attendants. A very special shout out to Otto at the pool he is a very sweet and kind. Also Keioki at the bar during the evening reception staff is great.
