  Some pros and cons of this hotel.

  Pros: Staff were friendly, rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels, complex inside and out very clean. Drinks were branded, beds were comfy, plenty of availability for sun beds in the spa and outside and plenty of variation of food. Cons: Pool outside and inside is too cold, lack of availability to book extra restaurants, and the only one we managed to get was Asian and the food was really not great, it can get very busy that you may not get a table at peak times and evening entertainment was very poor wasps at the pool areas if guests leave drinks round sunbeds. Location within walking distance of hotel is poor with one supermarket and one pharmacy 15 minute walk away. Tips: We did not require mosquito spray at this time of year. Sunny beach is a must! If you want fine dining go to La Flore in sunny beach, exquisite food. Take note of the busy restaurant times which are listed outside restaurant. They take Euros here as well as Bulgarian Lev. Overall it’s a 3.5-4 star restaurant. We would not return purely on location around the hotel.

  Big Mistake

  Spent a week in this low star hotel to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, our 1st major regret since 1975. Food & Wine at lunch very poor, twice in 7 days no white wine in Tides and only draught at that, how hard is that to check?. Smiley staff very few, no wonder! Cleanliness? Why is the place called Sunny Beach? Reception clock registers MOSCOW? Don't they know they are in EU? Need I go on? Will never return to Bulgaria

  Family holiday

  Great family holiday 1st time to Bulgaria 8 adults and one 5yr old Over all Hotel: big and clean set in nice grounds and has a fantastic beach and not to far from sunny beach lovely walk or via a bus ,bus are hit and miss on the times also Taxie’s not that cheep and rude drivers Also trains don’t go as far as you are lead to believe so check first Pools are big and look beautiful with a swim up pool bar but they are extremely cold which did spoil the whole experience even those of us who did dare go in was not in as long as we would like to have been The 2 lads who did the games around the pool were really lovely and friendly always made everyone feel welcome to join in Need new parasols somewhere were ripped and most of them didn’t stay up Was clean though around the grounds Not enough evening entertainment put on each show lasted no longer than 30mins no disco ect and only small games room and one pool table A great out door space but not enough in door seating in the evening when the nights are chilly Bar staff RUDE !! Roll eyeing and even getting ignored don’t think they liked us made my husband feel uncomfortable at times came across as some were a bit racist especially the two women in the 24 hour bar extremely rude also the lady in the late night cafe wasn’t happy when we would go and asked for evening hot chocolate Rooms were very big and clean big beds and safe/ fridge no iron though had to hire one and no usb ports but over all happy with the rooms and the cleaning staff so very friendly and polite changed towels and restocked drinks everyday Food was not the best iv had better in a 3* some off it was poor quality ,but there was plenty to eat and the odd bits that was nice and tasty also if went late not that warm And other rude guest didn’t help as no respect for anyone els pushing ect We also visited the Asian restaurant not impressed. Food was very bland and some of us had food That was only just warm. Over all we as a family had an amazing holiday Had lovely weather ,made are own entertainment loved the beach and the walking round sunny beach and nesabar great memories we made but due to rude people and cold pools wouldn’t come back

  Good but wouldn’t go back

  Just got back after a week stay with 9 of us, 8 adults and 1 5 year old. We enjoyed but wouldn’t stay again. Pros - 1. Beautiful beach 2. Really friendly cleaners, cleaners were the most friendliest. Cleaned every day and stocked our fridge up. Tina was also amazing and made sure I had an amazing breakfast, decorated the table and provided a bottle of champagne with breakfast. They also surprised us with a bottle of champagne in the room with a happy birthday sign which was a nice touch. Entertainment team were also lovely. 3. Really comfy beds and pillows, spacious rooms 4. Beach bar as part of all inclusive was lovely 5. Location is good apart from busses always quite late 6. 24 hour bar 7. Coffee shop/bar as part of all inclusive serving coffees/sandwiches/ cakes and unlimited bottles of water Cons - 1. Rude bar staff. About 5 of us including my daughter liked a hot chocolate at night before bed. However there was a particular staff member can’t remember her name - she made it seem like such an inconvenience and rolled her eyes as though she got fed up of us asking for hot chocolate. They never smile & don’t understand much English either. 2. We found the locals were quite rude also and not friendly. 3. I saw reviews of the pools being cold before coming but thought surely can’t be that bad. Omg I’ve never been anywhere where the pools are sooooo cold, it’s absolutely breath taking I was upset that I could only put my feet in, this was the main disappointment for me. 4. Could be more indoor seating areas 5. Mocktails were extremely rubbish and could be improved. 6. Food was extremely repetitive. Don’t get me wrong there’s something for everyone but was always the same. We tried the Asian restaurant and walked out as 3 of us had the noodles with vegetables which were vile. 2 others in the group there meal was cold. 7. Entertainment acts were good but not long enough. Literally on for 20 mins max and that’s it nothing else is on.

  Fantastic family holiday

  We went has a family of 9. 8 adults and x1 child our 5 year old granddaughter. We had x4 rooms next to each other which was good. The rooms were nice and spacious and the cleaners worked tirelessly & stocked our fridge every day it was our daughters birthday whilst out there and they set out a beautiful table with champagne and cake. The pools were amazing but cold 🥶 the private beach area was amazing 👏 and time and the animation team were great.
