Wonderful place. Exceptional food. Entertainment with Sofia and Bruna was a lot of fun! Voce was delicious and Sujon our server was super friendly and attentive!

Amazing Staff From Animation Team, Bar & Restaurants
The initial disappointment I’m sure is down to Hyatts business model NOT the hotel staff. On checking in our booking in clerk invited us to upgrade to preferred class & pay approx £840 extra for our 2 week stay. Not going to lie, I had secretly hoped, since the hotel was quiet we would have been given a Sea view room . This was a mistake. We had booked a “garden view “ but were told “as the hotel is new there are no gardens”. It was a tiny piece of grass blades and a few weeds. We had booked our holiday in Madeira because of the beautiful plants and nature, and Mountain View’s, so I would have been quite happy to have a garden view. However, I was left disappointed. We had 1 chair outside & inside! There was also no cupboards or wardrobes apart from a small one housing the safe with 6 hangers for both of us to hang 2 weeks worth of clothes. So had to keep our clothes in our suitcases on the floor. However, luckily for Hyatt the fantastic staff I mention saved the day. Hyatt Head Office, I hope you know . Your staff were BEYOND AMAZING in all other areas. At first we felt a bit “un preferred “ as we hadn’t accepted the kind offer to upgrade. If Hyatt Marketing read this. Please can you reconsider why you would have certain guests as “preferred” Shouldn’t we all be “valued” Anyway, I digress. Luckily your staff saved what could have been a bit of an initial disaster. I was not happy after we checked in to see our sadly furnished, viewless room. You could see a partial sea view if you stood up. Well one of us had to stand up lol! So I would like to say a big THANK YOU There was exceptionally hard working staff that saved the day; Marriella, Carol, Grace, Pedro, David, Sophia & Bruna were absolutely first class. A real credit to your business. The food & beverage staff, all too many to mention …sorry. all served with pride & passion to please. I watched the bar /coffee baristas /chefs shaking, baking & cooking up amazing cocktails /beverages/meals etc non stop, as well as entertaining us and treating us like royalty. We had a lot of fun & laughter with your authentic, friendly, hard working & passionate staff who made our holiday one of the best unique vacations I have ever had. Thank you. Already missing all you gorgeous lovely people we met at Dreams. You made it 5 stars not Hyatts daft regulations.

Lovely experience with the animation team
Olà Boa noite, This afternoon at Hyatt Dreams Madeira Resort was truly unforgettable! 🕯️ We started with a beautiful candle-making workshop focused on traditional Madeiran craftsmanship. It was both educational and hands-on, we learned about local techniques, natural materials, and the cultural roots of these artisanal candles. The setup was perfect, and we each got to create our own unique piece. 🥰 A huge thank you to the incredible animators, Carol and Bruna, who led the session with so much joy, energy, and warmth. They created such a positive and welcoming atmosphere. It felt like spending time with friends while learning something new. 🫶🏽 And just when we thought the fun was over, we had a surprise Portuguese language session with the animation team! 🇵🇹🇪🇺 It was absolutely interesting and so engaging. We laughed a lot while learning the basics of Portuguese. Greetings, useful phrases, and even a bit of pronunciation. The team made it super accessible and entertaining, even for complete beginners. The animation team at this resort is truly exceptional, they go above and beyond to make every activity memorable. We left with new skills, great memories, and a big smile on our faces. Can’t wait to join the next activity and see everyone again soon! Take care. 💕
