We stayed at canopy for a special occasion and also because we love Ferris wheel’s. During our stay, we met yohandra who was very kind to us. Her service was excellent and we enjoyed our room view! Would definitely visit again!

Best hotel in Cancun!
I absolutely love staying at this hotel this year. This will be 20 days that I’ve stayed here. The people here are incredible They literally go out of their way to make everybody comfortable and happy. From Adrian at the front desk to Rene, Carlos and Adrian at the door. Restaurant staff has literally gone out of their way to make sure I am eating well. I have to mention Maggy, Javier, Litzy, Feli, Martin, Emmanuel the thank you kitchen staff and most of all Yohandra!!! I’ve come here for medical issues, and I can only eat certain things. She literally goes out of her way for the chef Kamal to make things that I can eat. I will not stay anywhere else in Cancun!

Incredibly bad experience from start to finish. Rude staff gave us misinformation about the amenities in order to mislead us. For your information, it is not on the beach, even though hilton staff told us over the phone on recorded phone calls that the canopy hilton does have beach access and chairs/umbrellas on the beach for our use. They lied right to us over the phone and then refused to cancel our booking for us. The front desk also never answers the phone. We called the front desk more than 10 times and no one ever responded. When they finally did they were incredibly rude and unhelpful. If you want to be treated with a shred of respect and human decency never book here and never stay here!

Avoid at all costs!!! Horrendous customer service, weak amenities, and misrepresenting/lying to customers!
Do not stay at this horrible hotel! After this experience, I will never book with another Hilton again. It's a run down looking building, that is not actually on the beach (it's on the lagoon), and does not have chairs/umbrellas on the beach for you to use, although multiple Hilton sales agents lied to us and incorrectly told us that they do. Don't stay here unless you want to interact with rude staff who misrepresent their amenities, their location, and fail to help resolve any customer service issues. We are Hilton Honors Diamond Credit Card Amex holders and are at the point of cancelling our Hilton Credit Cards over this issue, and NEVER staying at any other Hilton property ever again. We will also be telling all of our friends and family to avoid this property and all other Hiltons at all costs, and also cancel their honors accounts and credit cards. After finding out that we were lied to and that the property is not actually on the beach, we spent the last 48 hours trying to modify or cancel our reservation and were denied time and time again by the grubby, money-hungry, rude people at the front desk of the hotel and the booking agents and supervisors who refused to help us. Shout out to all the incompetent and rude people that we spoke to/refused to help us: Henry, Rose, Kyle, Carla, Mimi, Zon, Aaron (the front desk supervisor) and several others who refused to take any accountability. That long long list of names should give you an indication of how horrendous the customer service was and how many people we've been passed around to and who have refused to help us. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Feli is the most polite and lovely person I’ve ever seen! She is the best! Every time I come here she has a huge smile on her face!
