  Breathless Punta Cana - 10/10 will definitely be back!!!

  Bachelorette trip to Breathless Punta Cana, 10/10!!! My friend group of 4 and I traveled to Breathless for a Bachelorette trip, and we had the absolute best time we could’ve had. Ambience was amazing, staff were even better. Our server, Margarita at the main pool was the highlight of our trip. She took amazing care of us the whole week and always made sure we were having a great time and taking a ton of pictures! The food was some of the best i’ve had at these resorts (this was my 15th all inclusive with Dreams/Secrets). Rooms were beautiful, very spacious and clean everyday. Staff were so friendly, always having a great time with us wherever we went! Overall, i’d definitely go back to this resort. Definitely a fun party resort, but with a couple pockets where you can chill out and relax.

  Our butler Yimi

  Our experience was amazing. We had Yimi as our butler and he was great, highly recommend him! Made our stay go very smoothly. Staff was amazing and helpful. Rooms clean.

  Don’t be deceived!

  This resort may have been a desirable spot at one time, but compared to other Breathless resorts is a dump. The menu at the restaurants would list ingredients and when the food arrived it didn’t have those ingredients. I ordered a poke bowl and got a tuna wrap. Most of the food was cooked incorrectly. The room wasn’t cleaned thoroughly. We might as well have not had it serviced each day. There were several items that weren’t functioning in the room, but we overlooked them. Most of the servers looked like they hated their jobs. Maybe because it’s a World of Hyatt company now and they don’t pay well? Their service reflected their attitudes. If these weren’t reasons enough to not come back to this resort, there’s one last thing. Upon arrival the UVC rep asked me to come to a presentation. I said I wasn’t interested and she said it’s her job to get people to attend and if I didn’t go they would question how she worked. She said they would offer a $200 spa certificate upon the end of the 45 minute presentation. I told her specifically that I didn’t want to use the certificate on a massage. I don’t do massages. They offered a hydrotherapy and she said that I could use the certificate on that. I went to the presentation. I was lucky to get out of there in 90 minutes. I got the vertical and booked my hydrotherapy. Days later I went to the spa and was ready to pay with the certificate and they said it wasn’t acceptable. The fine print in back of the certificate said “for 50 and 80 minute massages and therapies”. Apparently a hydrotherapy is not a therapy. They charged the room the amount. I went back to Unlimited Vacation Club and said that the certificate wasn’t accepted at the spa and for them to pay for it, since I asked specifically if the hydrotherapy was covered with the certificate. The UVC rep, Yanela, went on to say that she told me that it was only for massages and she told me that. So now I’m the liar that didn’t ask if the hydrotherapy was included? Or am I incompetent and didn’t hear her say massages only? Both are incorrect and they are taking advantage of people. They are deceptive and then have no consequence for their actions. The only way to hurt them is to not attend these presentations, don’t sign up for their services, never become a member because I can promise you that I’m not the only one that they fool. Beware! Bottom line, this resort was miserable and has tainted any desire for me to ever go back to Punta Cana.

  Overall great experience! Recommend.

  Overall, really good experience. If you are willing to have relaxing time during morning to evening and party at night Breathless is the place. Make sure to Cover Thursday-Sunday for your stay as they have more parties in the evening at that time. Restaurants: I would suggest Silk City is amazing. For other food varieties, go to Dreams Onyx for the food as they have more options.

  Beautiful Hotel with Top Tier Staff

  Breathless Punta Cana is a beautiful resort right on the ocean water. Offering different pool options and entertainment throughout the day. The resort had something going on almost every evening. Multiple different dining options offering a vast selection of food. We personally wished they had more authentic Dominican food. That was the one thing we wish they improved on. (Note that not all dining options are open everyday so make sure to have a dining plan). The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating! We upgraded to the Xhale club package and it was VERY worth it. We had a private pool, beach area and clubhouse. They offered hors d'oeuvres at the pool and had entertainment there as well. Our room was stocked daily, cleaned twice a day with a turn down service that went the extra mile and would surprise us with daily arrangements. Our room also had a private hot tub on our covered porch. Our concierge, Willie, is truly someone special. He treated us like his family, he goes above and beyond for his people. He made our honeymoon more than we could have ever imagined. His devotion to his job should be recognized by management and I hope one day he can achieve his goal of being a GM. He would make a great leader at Breathless! When he went on his time off, Willie continued to check in on us even with our new concierge Emilio who was also helpful, friendly and incredibly attentive. Thank you for making our Honeymoon one we will never forget!
