The resort is gorgeous! Rooms are pretty but I think I was given a horrible room though sadly (ac didn’t work, refrigerator didn’t work, smelled like cigarettes, and I chose a tropical side which wasn’t tropical and I still received the pool side, shower leaked into the toilet room which is probably why my room smelled moldy). Food could be a lot better at the buffets but the speciality restaurants were good. It is hard to make a reservation at the speciality restaurants for large parties but they’ll try to work with you if you’re patient.

Carlos is very friendly efficient server. He makes sure that the guests are happy and satisfied. Kaleidoscope restaurant.

First day was great until they drained the main pools with swim up bar completely with no previous warning through the travel agents we booked through.The resort has smaller pools between the building that we used but the surprise the next day heading there with towels to see red tape closed for four weeks.The room was great perfect sleep quality "Gladys " was our made she did a great job room was swept mopped fresh towels and bedding every day she is the best.The air conditioning is locked to 25 i do not believe it is intentional i believe it is that way to protect people from going into shock if to cold from how hot it is there the air worked 24-7 never stopped ounce.The bars were good was the best very happy pleasant bar maid a smile all the time good service. Entertainment was good very good they go out of there way to impress you that they did.DJ was happy to take requests play classic rock old school and of course nice Dominican music! the best.The food was not good the breakfast was but you found your self begging for the second cup or glass of water.The buffet lunch was the exact same as dinner buffet it was not good recycled .I was interviewed by management about this they agreed they would try to improve! i hope they do this resort could be one of the best? The beach was a bummer water was dark brown from the sea weed not the resorts doing it was nature.The beach was dragged and cleaned every day perfectly.Drinking water you cant get any out side breakfast buffet until 10-30 ish am i believe they need to put at the end of all bars including pool ares a self serve jugs with taps like mentioned the breakfast staff needs upgrade.Servers in the lunch and dinner buffets were good never an empty glass or a dirty plate on your table and they always smiled.So thanks for reading my review i hope Management will learn from it and improve it all the best to the staff and management and all new comers.

Sep 13, 2025Terrible hotel with many many reasons you should Not stay here
Reasons to not stay at this horrible "resort" 1. Alarm went off every night saying to evacuate hotel room. 2. Main pool was out of service so everyone was cramped into the upgraded members pool making the upgraded status pointless. 3. They advertise 11 restaurants but only had 2 buffets with horrible food and 2 al la cart restaurants that did have decent food but were hard to book since everyone was trying to book the same places. 4. Male staff was very creepy with female guests around the pool. The second woman arrived at the pool, male staff would harass them. 5. Some of the rooms have mildew smell that is so bad it will make you sick.

Great Vacation.
We had a great five nigjts. Food was great. Staff were great. Beautiful place. Do Not Believe the bad reviews. We will be back. It has everything we wanted.
