Dec 02, 2025Lounge experience at barcelo
We had an amazing here at the Barcelona with cesar Lopez. He made my family feel so special and went out of his way by personally throwing a celebration for my dad’s birthday. He decorated a table for us to celebrate the occasion and made us amazing drinks/dessert. We hope to come again soon and see cesar.

Carajillo
Cesar López at the VIP bar is the best company and best server. Best Carajillo in the entire hotel. There were some intense tourists an he handles it with class and tact.

We enjoyed a girls week and booked a premium room. The room size was wonderful and comfortably slept the 3 of us. The premium perks weren't in our room as indicated so we had to call room service and additionally had to request bedding for the day bed and extra towels and robe. The premium lounge was just so-so. The adult pool was great with good pool service. Unfortunately the beach is very small. We took the bus in twice to PV, it stops right out front. We also enjoyed an amazing snorkel trip with Jack Soarrow - right at tge resort. The entertainment was OK, with alot of variety. One of our party caught food poisoning on the last day due to undercooked sausages. Otherwise all other food at the buffet and a la cartes were great. Overall it was a great stay.

The location is quite far from the airport so Taxi drivers complained a lot, but it is a beautiful location. The resort needs to be updated including the rooms. Only one pool bar, and the family/kid pool had lots of shade which is nice but it gets cold by the afternoon. The food was okay, with lots of poor quality or still frozen food and don’t go there if you have diet restrictions as nothing is labelled and you have to get the chef to walk you around and tell you, but even then I didn’t feel comfortable eating much. And the some of the staff understood, but even at the restaurants I had to continuously question the food that was prepared. And we ate at the Italian restaurant and was told I could get the steak, and then we went back and said I could get GF pasta…so very inconsistent. The kids club was awesome and the staff we really good with the kids.

There was some good here Louis making pizzas was a great experience The pool area needed cleaned In a week no one really cleaned the pool area a drink spilled sat for 3 days before anyone cleaned it the drinks are all watered down no booze In them take a shot like water no mixed drinks like Bloody Mary at breakfast the hall ways and walk around areas around the pool dinning areas wet and slippery people falling all the time the food at the buffet was not hot omelet station only warm food the cushiness in the room do dirty didnt want to sit the wait staff not great room cleaning not good at all asked to clean they don’t speak had to call to have supervisor come to room point out dirty areas that were never cleaned capri restaurant was the best staff and cooks took pride in there restaurant
