Great Staff
Very lush, quiet resort with ample entertainment during the evening. I was most impressed by the staff at the buffet. They provided excellent service. As soon as we sat down we were offered beverages. Plates were cleared quickly. I was walking with soup, the waiter saw and before I sat down there was a soup spoon at my table. Everyone is friendly, attentive and working very hard. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Fabulous fortnight
We had a lovely stay at Sian Ka'an. We've never been to Mexico before and beginners at AI. From the check-in to the check - out, all the staff were great. The trolleys: Before arriving, I was struggling to comprehend how the system worked. It works brilliantly most of the time. Now and again, there's a bit of a wait at peak times. Going between the hotels on the trolley makes it seem like you ate going out for the day or going out for dinner. The staff: the staff work tirelessly to make your stay the best it can be. Cenote snack bar, difficult to pick out individuals, but I'll mention a few. José, Jesus, Constantinos, Alina, and many, many others. I had breakfast here most mornings. The choice is less than the buffet but less chaotic and, for me, more enjoyable. A la cartes: our favourites were Portofino and Dolce Vita. Our favourite server was Jenny at Portofino. She even taught my husband some Spanish, a miracle! The hotel is probably not perfect, I would have liked a pool with a deep end. The rooms are spacious, not luxurious, but comfortable. I went on a bird walk with Mario, and I wish I had gone a few times as it was so interesting. We saw many birds, a snake, agouti & sereque. On other walks, some saw toucans. Maybe bring binoculars if you're a keen bird watcher. Wildlife: You can see coatis & racoons around the Cenote bar, especially late at night. Lots of long tailed grackles who were keen observers at mealtimes. I hoped to see monkeys, but I don't think you see them here. We are already dreaming of returning.

Jungle Love
Sian Ka'an isn't your typical all-inclusive; it's better. And here's why: The Location - The resort is tucked away in the jungle. Sure, it's a manicured jungle, but wandering to your room feels like strolling through a lush tropical rainforest. It's peaceful. It's intimate. It invites you to slow down and breathe deeply. So tranquil. And you're only a short (10 minutes?) trolley ride from the beach and the party atmosphere of 4 larger resorts in case you feel inspired to explore. The Food - It's indulgent. With over a dozen world-class restaurants to choose from, and an unlimited number of a la carte meals, you can dine in a new venue every night, depending on where your tastebuds take you. The food is fabulous, the service attentive, and the menus diverse. There's also a 24 hr snack bar that caters to late night cravings or odd travel times. Even the buffet is superlative! You won't go hungry here. The People! - The staff and their treatment of their guests is what makes Sian Ka'an truly shine. They anticipate your every need and remember your preferences, your drink orders... your name! The people truly go above-and-beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible. Anyone who is miserable here will be dissatisfied wherever they go. Be aware, the rooms are spacious and immaculate, if a little dated. If your definition of "luxury" prioritizes the finest modern furnishings and gleaming fixtures, then seek accommodations elsewhere. People who value simplicity and basic creature comforts will find Sian Ka'an absolutely blissful. This is a place to turn off your phone and slow down.

⭐🇲🇽⭐🇲🇽⭐
I traveled here on my own again , and from the moment I arrive, I feel completely at ease. The staff made such a difference every single person I met was kind, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. I want to thank Diana & Alex from the entertainment team , Isabel & Erandi from guest services but a special shout out to Enrique who got me into one of the new al a carte restaurants at short notice but always had time to stop for a chat and to make sure I was ok . And Eduardo the manager who I dealt with for the first time at check out but was so friendly and attentive and now have contact details of ready for my next visit for help with dinner reservations or room requests. Eglaydy from the breakfast buffet, wow what a one of a kind special, beautiful lady deserves a pay rise or promotion 💜 Daniel, Luis, Manuel, Faustino also work there socks off along with all of the other staff from the buffet el guapo Edgar Cepada who is in charge of the replenishment and presentation of cold buffet section went out of his way. The omelette station ladies were a bright spot every morning. They were always friendly and patient waiting for the smeg of the fried eggs too cook all whilst keeping my yolk runny. At the amazing snack bar Claudia and Constantino were always on hand to give recommendations or for my 4am visit the day after landing when my body was still on uk time and I wandered over for a cup of tea in my pjs. Rachel, Carmen, Jenifer friendly faces from previous years give the best hugs. The best drinks made by Randy, Carlos, Giovanny, Silvia, and Fabiola. I also really appreciated Ricardo, Charly Chan, Meli, and Pablo offering the best poolside drinks service with a smile. Some of my best meals were thanks to, Aremy and Roque at Alux, who made dining alone feel relaxed and welcoming, Angel at Mikado, who brought so much good energy, Pedro at Tortuga, always kind and helpful, Jhovany at Dolce Vita, who made sure everything went smoothly each visit. It was also nice seeing familiar faces from other properties, Anabel, who I knew from Sian Kaan and now works at Tulum. Aurora, also from Sian Kaan and now at Akumal—still as lovely as ever. Ofelia from Coba, who I’ve always appreciated for her warmth. Nicolas, who I from Coba and is now at the new Tequila resort. This trip reminded me why I love coming here. The resort is beautiful, but it’s the people who make it special. Even traveling alone, I never once felt alone. Each and every staff member you helped make my stay feel comfortable and personal, and as a solo traveler, that meant a lot I’m really grateful for everyone who made this trip so memorable, and i will see you all in November 2026. My Mexican familia 🇲🇽💜
