Most awesome service

I can't begin to describe how much I enjoyed the week we spent at Sandos in Cabo. Ismael, our pool butler, was the most amazing person. Not only did he exceed our expectations he has been there for over 20 years and could assist with anything we wanted. From excursions to providing us a wonderful dinner on the beach experience we will never forget. He read our minds and knew when to order food and brought us amazing drinks while we relaxed at the pool near our rooms. He even took the time to learn a new drink we came up with for Cabo; cross eyed Cabo cowboys. If you have ever had a Jamaican Cowboy you will understand. Again the service was exemplary and Ismael just made the whole experience amazing! We became members and look forward to next year and many more to come. More>

Spent a short weekend here and can't wait to come back! Great location, just a walk across the street to the marina and a nice ocean view on the other. Food was good and our server Gaylord at Don Diegos was excellent. More>

we've travelled to Cabo many times and were a little nervous staying in a new hotel .Although our travels were delayed because of a hurricaine our experience was wonderful when we arrived. I did expect our rooms to be ready since we were a a day late .However, we had to still wait to get our room keys. The people at the desk were very nice though. The staff at the resort were all very nice and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure you were happy, The food at the hotel was very good, and so was the service. The pool at the pool bar needs a few more umbrellas, as it was very hot. There also needs to be more pool activities. Even the pool bar pool was very quiet. The bartenders, waiters were very attentive, and the drinks were very good. A good selection for everyone. I loved the pool menu, so you didn't have to get out of the pool for lunch if you didn't want to.The hotel is in an excellent location to reach the marina and the nite entertainment. I stayed in an ocean view room and they were very nice and clean More>

The hotel is good, the food is good, staff really nice, good accomodations, the landscape is breathraking. The last two nights were a nightmare. There was a lady next door room 1315 who was out of control, shoutting and slamming the door many and many times. In the first day the epidode endured two hours from 7pm till 9pm. On our last night it began at 1:30 am and it didn't finish untill 4am. Ruined our last night. Many employees were there including security of the hotel, but they didn't take any effective action to solve the problem. More>

Great week in paradise

Stayed in Sandos Finisterra for a week and it was awesome. The staff is always helpful and happy to serve, they were always interacting with the guests who were very much pleased with them. Area is great, close to the marina, and all the bars and nightlife, but if you want, leaving the hotel is not even necessary. Food and drinks are great, there are shows everynight and a nice nightclub with a great view. Although the hotel is in front of the ocean, you can't swim in it, as it has strong currents. but Cannery Beach (or Playa La Empacadora) is very close to the hotel, with mostly local people and nice view. Medano Beach is a little bit farther on the other side of the marina, but also easy to walk to. The only two issues with the hotel in my opinion were: - bar by the pool closing before the pool is closed. it was annoying when they put the bubble wrap plastic to get people to be away from the bar because they were preparing for serving dinner at 18:00! - they'll ask you to participate in breakfasts so they can sell their apartments (not sure it is timeshare or not) and offer discounts in the activities provided to the hotel for doing it so. They did not insist after I said I wouldn't go, but it is annoying anyway, so come prepared to say no (if that's what you want). More>
