Great long weekend getaway!

My friend and I needed a girls get away. This place was perfect. A 3 hour plane ride away. All inclusive. Yes, everything was included, drinks, food, in room mini bar. Location, location, location! This was very important to us so that we could easily walk to places. It is located right across the street from the Marina where there are boats to rent and restaurants and little stores to shop in. You can get to the downtown area where CaboWabo is by walking through the Marina area. The food was delicious at the Finesterra! We didn't feel like we had to leave to find food anywhere. The view was beautiful. Not sure of any other hotels that are located up on the hill so can see all over the city on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. Very clean and friendly staff. Our room had two bathrooms which was perfect for two women to get ready! Definitely recommend this place!

Another trip to Cabo in the books & another stay at Sandos Finisterra. Overall this is a nice resort to stay at but we heard they're under new mgmt and there were a few changes we experienced. We spend a lot of time at the main pool with swim up bar & they now have activity coordinators to try to get everyone to participate in. Unfortunately water aerobics to the music of Lion King is not enjoyable to hear or watch. The activity crew speaking over the PA system is so loud, we cannot hear ourselves talk & none of the group we were with thought this was entertaining. They have several other activities through the day that weren't so annoying but it interrupts the normal music being played. They have 2 other pools on each side of the main adult pool, would be better if they did the activities there. On a positive note, the wait staff were awesome! Fernando, Joel & Norma always give superb service and if it weren't for them, we'd be elsewhere. Also the bellmen were also very helpful and friendly, especially Alvaro, who always remembers us. We (3 of us) stay in the junior deluxe suite which has a kitchenette & nice size room with ocean view. Hotel is walking distance to the marina, which has a lot of great restaurants . Can also walk into town, but the walk back up the driveway can be tough during the heat of the day. Wear comfy shoes!

Great Location - Love the Finisterra

We loved our week long stay at the Sandos Finisterra! We had a group of 18 people there between 10/7 and 10/14 to celebrate several 60th birthdays plus some of us went to Cabo Wabo to celebrate with Sammy Hagar on his 70th. This is the second time that my husband and I stayed here - the first was many years ago and it was not all inclusive at that time. We recommended that the group stay here and they all loved it - many have traveled extensively and they said it was one of the best trips ever. Here is what we love so much: the fantastic views of both the Pacific and the marina/bay area - there are not many places where you are able to view both. The location - within walking distance (or a very short cab ride) of the marina and the downtown area - yet you still have a beautiful private beach. The staff - loved the staff! Felt like we were long time friends with many of them. They went out of their way to be pleasant and to help us with whatever we needed. We particularly loved Santiago (in the lobby), Joel (pool waiter), and the entertainment crew especially Carla, Maurizio and America. They were all so much fun - and always smiling! Anyone that we encountered at the resort was friendly - from the cleaning people in the hallways to those working the front desk. We loved that there was nightly entertainment at the resort - and the white party was a nice treat. The food was good - and it was nice that we did not need to make reservations at any of the restaurants. With a large group, you never know who will be ready for dinner and when - so it was very nice to have the various restaurant options. We felt very comfortable at the resort - had everything we needed right there! We will definitely return and recommend to others.

The BEST place ❤️❤️

I just love this resort. We adore the elite pool and the bartender who knows how to make drinks with love. I adore the eco sense at this resort who care about the turtles and other marine life. I helped save 97 turtle eggs on this trip- thank you Brenda! I life experience I will always treasure. Staff so caring love Carlo, Gabriel, Ishmael, Florence, and Ricardo who shares his love of tequila!! Great food, great relaxation, great party too! We are blessed to have Aldo and Sesil welcoming us with great news of their family growing. I want you all to look for Johnny the bellhop. His smile shines bright and he brings wonderful words of inspiration to your ears. Finisterra we call home.

We enjoyed staying at this all inclusive resort! Our room was clean and convenient (they took care of my request to have our room close to the lobby and it was really close to it). The staff everywhere is very helpful and friendly. Grayline tours and expedia koisks are in the lobby in case you need their services. Just be strong saying NO to the timeshare sharks and not fall into that lifetime trap and you will be fine...
