My husband and I stayed at the Oleo the week of June 10th. It is a beautiful hotel. Thank you again Martin for the amazing room (1905) and the birthday surprise. The services are beyond amazing especially Alajuandro. He has the most joyful spririt. Jonathan and Enrique will keep your drinks flowing. The restaurants Hakka and Alamar are delicious. One note the Hakka often was full at the time we booked but when at the restaurant they often did not have full tables so perhaps a no reservation policy might work better as people often decide not to go when they booked. The beach is nice but with the winds lots of seaweed. But the pools were great to spend the day in. The hotel needs some maintenance and we had alot of rain so people were moved. I think that if the reno keep up this hotel will be a 5 star.

Fantastic boutique hotel on the strip.

Oleo was a fantastic little hotel. Quick summary, terrific friendly staff that often went out of their way to make things right or tried their best to fix things. Great food was enjoyed at both restaurants and the buffet selections and quality was great as well as very clean. The fresh juice and deserts/breads added several inches to my waist. Loved the little tents on the beach and the pool was just big enough for the size of the resort. Need to shout out to Jonathan and Angel our bartenders/entertainers. They were always smiling, always quick responding to requests and remembered your fav drink, even when you didn’t need another. The buffet staff were amazing as well and just as friendly even when they were swamped and putting up with some unappreciative guests. Totally would recommend this place if your looking for a good Mexican beach vacation, And the wifi was awesome throughout the resort, even on the beach. The Bad. The weather was a little stormy for the last couple of days so we were mostly stuck inside. Due to this and a lack of weather stripping on the windows or balcony doors in our room and other rooms, the rain created a few internal rivers. Extra towels helped stop the flow but the wind whistling through was a little distracting. And being such a small resort there was very little to do but drink, watch Netflix and play cards. They don’t really have a theatre for the guests but tried hard to keep us entertained. Overall a great place.

Not overly great

Great hotel, very close to the airport with all the amenities you need! It's great for first time visitors to Mexico, with friendly staff, good food and on the main road (so the nightlife is only a short ride away). They also have a Starbucks serviced coffee shop on the premises, as well as a BD travel office, if you want to book excursions. The rooms were comfy and clean, with all the necessary amenities you could ever need. Plenty of space in the rooms as well for bags and clothes. Food was good, the Azul main restaurant (where you don't need to book) had a wide selection of breakfast and dinner. You can get lunch at the pool area, and also book at the 2 restaurants (other than Azul) on the premises. The Hakka restaurant was great, with Asian fusion cuisine, the other restaurant has a great view, but I prefer Hakka's food. You have to pre book these restaurants the day before or the morning of. The gym was really cool, with towels, and nice, up to date equipment. The spa was great, with different temperature pools and friendly staff. The massages were great!

Excellent surprise 40th holiday!

Wow what can I say Oleo was a fantastic holiday destination. Loved every moment including a massive thunderstorm which was absolutely electric. Many thanks to all the staff that made our holiday so special! Paola, Blas, bar staff knew our drinks & even got the other half drinking tequila 😍. We were upgraded on arrival to a fantastic room with sea view which was absolutely breathtaking! All staff Really went above and beyond in fact everyone did apart for entertainment guy who didn’t even give us the time of day on the whole trip 😔, only seemed interested in keeping the young ladies entertained 🤷🏾‍♀️. Still the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER! Till we meet again! Making plans for next trip already!
