We are presently at the resort... for 1 night. Room ok, but 3* Service is great. We had a reservation at 9pm at the Mediterranean restaurant; after sitting for 5 min fire alarm went on... nobody moved; the alarm went off and then we’ve been told that kitchen was closed and the only place to eat was the buffet (by the way the buffet is very small and it was Tacos night!!!!) So we explained that we were here for only one night... they said that they would arrange something, they proposed a steak that would be cooked for us... at the buffet they put thin pieces of beef and fish on the grill!!! I said that it was not what we expected at all; then they offered us a New York steak which we accepted! Our waiter Victor was very nice in this matter... we finally got a plate, the effort was there, but we got slow cooked meat, was good but not a New York steak.. end up very disappointed at the lobby bar where a kids party was happening at 11pm!!!!

Meh underwhelming

Really underwhelmed The hotel & Mexico are beautiful but... I was SOOO Bored at this hotel 2 weeks is way to long to spend here me (27) & 9 year old was ready to go home by the 4th day The food (buffet) is repetitive & nothing special I liked breakfast ok Ilianas lovely self made it though but come lunch I’d go to the pool food bar & dinner i wasn’t Intrested only went down so I wasn’t cooped up in the room as I knew after dinner I’d be going straight back to the room as the entertainment was DISMAL honestly in all the many hotels I’ve stayed there daytime & evening entertainment is the worst I’d honestly just scrap it (this was probably the biggest let down) Pools small out of the 2 weeks my son played in it maybe 4/5 times he would get bored & go off upstairs as there was nothing to do in the day Beach was lovely room also the view was amazing (room 3601 ocean view) but my room was cold I’m from the UK so know about cold but when I turnt off the AC which was often the room smelt of stale smoke so a catch 22 unfortunately cold vs stink

We booked Óleo Cancún Playa All Inclusive Boutique Resort for our 24th anniversary and am thrilled to say it was a great choice. Our personal bests were the following: • Effortless and professional checking-in and –out process; • A beautiful, well-kept beachfront with the most perfect blue ocean! • We stayed in the Junior Suite with an ocean view – simple and stylish decoration and a pure joy to wake up to the splashing waves. Units are serviced daily and always well maintained; • Simply the best team! We initially started taking names down of staff that really impressed us, soon to realize this is not the exception, but the norm. All of them really went out of their way to secure a lovely stay. I am not going to name any in fear of omitting one – we can simply note they are a major asset to the resort! • The meals and drinks that includes all restaurants (and we tried all). The food / cocktails are of quality and more than enough. The buffet varieties is catering for all preferences and as far as the bar goes, I think whatever you can name, they can deliver. We enjoyed everything but have to give special mention to the chicken wrap at the pool restaurant – WOW! • Added services (reliable wifi, gym, art studio) to improve your stay; • BD desk that assisted with our shuttle service and added tours to Chichen Itza – great service and conveniently located; • Easy to convert dollars right there at the hotel – better rates as compared to the airport; • Great location! Loved the fact that they are so close to the airport – so you need not leave loooong in advance to be on time for your flight. Also, one could just step out of the hotel grounds into the street and catch the public transport – buses available at more than affordable rates. Areas for possible improvement: • Too little sunbeds – if you don’t reserve your bed early, you are left out in the scorching sun. We even reserved our beds early on some days, just to find someone ‘not so kind’ helping them to your ‘reserved’ chair ; • We stayed in Tower 3 on the 6th floor, and the hotel adjacent to us clearly is a party venue with weddings and loud entertainment in the evenings. If you are a light sleeper, this could be a bit disturbing; • When we booked at Hakka, they forgot to mention they require closed shoes for males. My husband had to go back to change his shoes. It is not a biggie, but would be better if informed in time to come prepared. As you can see, the pros list exceed the cons by far! We had a lovely stay and would recommend the hotel without hesitation. Thank you for helping to make our anniversary another one to remember. 

I just returned from a 2 week stay at this resort and would like to give honest feedback good & Bad Bad: Not enough Sunbeds, pool area too small if beach is red flagged which it was for the duration of my stay and I stayed in low season, pool area gets very busy would not like to see it when all 3 towers fully booked. Entertainment needs a complete overhaul or be removed completely of very poor standard, perhaps just have background music, cannot charge to your room at the resort, cannot book restaurants from room need to visit foyer to do this food in all restaurants of good quality but not hot so tends to make in no enjoyable. Would not recommend this hotel for longer than 4-5 days as not enough to keep you entertained for 2 weeks even though we done may excursions during our stay, no English channels in the rooms. My room 3610 was comfortable but very basic, not what I would class as a superior room. Maid service very accommodating Good: Beach was stunning and well kept, Sun tents excellent idea, View from room was beautiful, lobby area lovely, but overall it is the staff on the frontline that give this hotel to highest marks, Liliana at breakfast went above and beyond each day always smiling and welcomed us by our names each day. The bar staff both at the pool bar and the lobby bar are Amazing never stop working. All the staff serving in these area's really do deserve a big pay rise as these are the people who credit this hotel

Spent 6 nights (7 days in November-December 2018) at Oleo. Overall, our stay was pleasant and relaxing and we'd go back in the future. This is a smaller resort with a wonderful, clean beach. We got an upgrade to "Inspira" room, which enabled us to have a prime spot at the beach daily. Service was outstanding throughout our stay. Personnel at Oleo went out of their way to make us feel at home. We used the spa and it exceeded our expectations. Pricing was decent, especially since we booked two massages at a discounted rate. Would recommend this resort for couples, friends, and families with small children.
