Great resort! Loved every moment of it. Gorgeous rooms, and excellent service. The rooms at the end of the last building are by far the quietest (farther away from the pool and the music) and have a slightly bigger balcony. They are a little farther away from everything though, but if you don't mind a little extra walking it's worth it. We loved the food, pools, the beach. We took one excursion to the falls close by and it was amazing. The entertainment was excellent as well. The luxury side is the way to go if you don't have kids as you have access to pretty much everywhere but escape from the areas with kids when you want. More>

Stayed here from Sept 18-25 , Service was beyond expectation, Staff beyond expectation,Rooms very clean ,Hotel landscaped beautifully, Restaurants and buffets excellent,Nightly entertainment top notch! Everything in this resort is neat and orderly, the beach is very nice, the ocean water so warm like your bathtub. Nothing to complain about this resort, I loved the fact that if you stay here you can use all the facilities next-door at the Grand Bahia Principe. This resort has so many activities you could never keep with all thats available, they have a shopping village, and many stores inside the resort itself! I would highly recommend this place to any , i defiantly will be back at this resort! I give it a 6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . More>

Relaxing and Quiet Resort

I had a blast...I went with my mom and two sisters. The resort was pretty amazing and clean. I loved the ambience. I have been to Grand Bahia Principie in Punta Cana but this was better mainly because we were on the adult side of the resort. The food at Jazmin Restaurant was great; I love the French toast in the morning. The pineapple was the bomb. The snack bar on the Luxury serves the juiciest jerk chicken. The staff members were extremely polite. I didn't really like the sushi bar by the pool; they didn't make the best sushi but then again, I was in Jamaica..lol..One time, my sister was not feeling well and they asked us to serve her meal from the snackbar and they took it to her in the room.. quite thoughtful Our rooms were beautiful and cleaned all the time. I felt they came around too early sometimes at about 7.45am and I didn't like that. When I told them to come back, they didn't return till like 5pm when we were back in the room. Apart from that, I even felt they cleaned too much lol..if there is anything like that.. The entertainment was great...not as much entertainment as I would like but it was fun...Brandon, one of the staffs, was our favourite... the pool side entertainment was the best...I loved the fact that their staff but their hearts and soul into their jobs. they had fun and that's always important. Having said all these beautiful things, we had some issues...our key to the room kept deactivating. at first, we thought it was us putting it beside our phones and electronic devices. however, sometimes, by the time I reactivated it and got back to the room to open the door, it was deactivated after the first use. It was frustrating to walk back and forth from the room to the lobby. we must have reactivated our keys at least 10 times. At some point, I told them to send someone to check the doors because it was not normal. We requested oceanview rooms but we never got it. we had two rooms and I felt like they didn't try to accommodate us considering I sent emails in advance before we got there. they told us they were going to look into it but they never got back to us. We also had a reservation to the Don Pablo Restaurant which is pretty hard to get into. We got there and they basically didn't have anything left on the menu. This was around 9.30pm and we had not eaten. We were so upset and left. We had to quickly run into jazmin restaurant, that was closing at 10pm, and grab what was left to eat. Apart from these, we had a blast. We got to see Bob Marley's home; that was a nice experience. We went to blue hole, which was an amazing experience. Overall, Jamaica is definitely on my to-return list, yeah mon! More>

Amazing Resort!

I had an amazing time of this resort. I would say 80-90% of the rooms are ocean view. We couldnt have been happier as I was celebrating my 30th Birthday! All the staff are amazing and very friendly. I never once had to ask for a drink, the minute I took my last sip, the bartender had another one ready. We met an entertainment guy named "Romain", or "Flava" as he called himself. He was absolutely amazing to us! We went into town with a taxi and he showed us the culture, his home, we ate at Margaritaville. The experience was awesome! We couldnt thank him enough. The only a la carte we really enjoyed sober was The Steak House. I cant speak for a lot of the a la cartes, the bartenders were too good to us, most of the a la carte times we booked, we missed them due to countless drinks and refills LOL. We did tip quite often. I felt it was a nice gesture for how incredibly welcoming they are to us and their hospitality was the best I have seen. The only cons I would say, and they arent even that bad to be honest is: Watch out for pricing. Its pretty straightforward with most "down south" resorts. People will ask for money, no difference at this resort. Or they will tell you the price is 50% more than it actually is. The beach is man made and private. This is on the adult only side. The beach isnt the best but if you want to take a 10 minute or less walk to the family side, the beaches are amazing and honestly the walk is not far and soooo worth it! Other than that, this resort is by far the best I have been too. I would recommend it 100%. The last day they brought out the biggest inflatable slide Ive ever seen! It was a crazy last day to say the least! We will be back but most likely we our 3 children this time! More>

Clean and quiet resort

Beautiful and clean resort offers total rest and relaxation. The front lobby is welcoming, and check in was smooth and efficient. I don't have any complaints about food or drink. The buffet was pretty standard. The "theme" nights at the buffet lack enthusiasm, and there is little difference in offerings from one night to the next. Beds are comfortable. Excursions are fun - we visited Bob Marley's birthplace/resting place (pot VERY expensive there, come prepared), the Blue Holes, and went snorkelling. Blue Holes are definitely worth a visit; it is a bit challenging to hike among them - bring water shoes. We are always happy with Gran Bahia resorts - you can't go wrong. More>
