Myself and my 18 yr old daughter (it was her birthday 2 days after we arrived) are currently staying here as a birthday treat.... Our first week has flown by.... we have been made to feel most welcome .... the staff are so friendly ..... a special mention for Allison ... our excellent omelette chef in the Negril restaurant.... and to the entire entertainment team... amazing group of young people... We are staying in a junior suite... no complaints.... in fact its perfect... only one tiny snag was our towels weren't replaced on our 2nd day... a quick call to reception soon rectified the problem... however we are all human... it was nothing major. I have travelled quite extensively. .. and I can find no fault with the food available in the dining rooms.. or the service... hand sanitizer is used for everyone entering. The a la'carte restaurants are a must... however its a first come first served policy... unless you are celebrating a special occasion. ... we booked chez Bubbas steakhouse .... excellent...I could continue... however I feel if you are thinking of visiting this beautiful country you should definitely stay here and make your own mind up..... Went here twice, once for a wedding and some how I happened to conveniently lose my pair of Lacoste loafers. They staff there was not no way helpful. The second trip was even worse. The food was so bland. The staff was very rude and it was as if the hotel nah no management. The rooms were fine and luckily I stayed only one night. As soon a the next day we were ready to go home. Very nice Resort with everything you may want or need

I only give the resort 3 stars bc that's how many days I was able to enjoy out of 5 days. I was at the Grand Palladium last May 2015 for my anniversary. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived at 12p and my check in was at 3p. I had access to the entire resort including food/bars, which I thought was amazing. I didn't actually get into my room until 6p because I had to wait for my room to be "cleaned," so they said. I walked into my "cleaned room" and it was really nice. It looked very clean especially because the floor looked like it was just moped. In reality it wasn't cleaned, it smelled like nasty old mop water and the bathroom was disgusting, the bathroom was never cleaned because the tub had sand/dirt in it and it also had a dirt rim (I have the pictures to prove it just promised to not post if they helped me out) I was so exhausted and frustrated from traveling/waiting for my room I didn't really want to deal with anyone or hear any more excuses. Once I calmed down I went to the front desk and spoke to a young lady who was very nice but explained to me that they had no other rooms available to move me to at that time. She told me to come back the next day around 12p to see if anything was available. By this time my girlfriend was furious and was over the resort but I insisted on making the best out of it because we were already at the resort. I got up the next morning and went down at 8a and spoke to the same young lady who was sweet to me the day before (I wish I could remember her name, but I do have a picture of her.) She knew exactly why I was there and told me she wanted to make my experience better because she knew my girlfriend wasn't a happy person the day before. She offered to upgrade our room for $90 because that was the only way she would be able to help me out. I paid it just to hurry up and try to enjoy the rest of our time at the Resort. I had to get my stuff out the room and it was held in the lobby (like i just arrived.) The upgrade I paid for was phenomenal but I didn't get into my waterfront suite until almost 7p the day I upgraded. It was like my first day all over again waiting for my room. After I got the room situation situated me and my girlfriend enjoyed the rest of my 3 days (I was only there for 5 days) on this beautiful resort with no other complaints. The only thing that really sucks is that we wasted 2 day and only enjoyed 3. Until this day my girlfriend says this is her worst traveling experience because she wasted 2 days waiting to get situated in a room. For Valentines Day I'm going to surprise her with another trip back to this resort to hopefully remove her negative thoughts about our previous stay at the Grand Palladium and actually enjoy 5 days not 3. I have no idea how shes going to react to this surprise but I will update and review my next stay at the Grand Palladium May 2016. The down part of having such a beautiful waterfront suite is that I kind of want to experience the same suite if not better. My travel agency is telling me they can not book the waterfront suite we were upgraded to back in May 2015. I called the Grand Palladium to see if anything they can do to try and help me secure the same room or a better one and they said I will have to check once I get there May 2016. I'm really hoping it all works out because this time I really want to enjoy my entire trip and not a partial. More>

I was a bit nervous to go as some of the reviews said the staff was rude and food was not good. Well let me start off by saying not one person working for the Palladium was RUDE to us. I saw the reverse on how rude some of the guest were towards them. I was taken back by this, who do you think you are??? As for the food, it could have been warmer, but it wasn't disgusting. If you went to the Al A Carte and ordered from the menu it was all hot and pretty good. The buffet for breakfast had a variety and wasn't bad. The SPA was fabulous and Mishelle in sales for the SPA was awesome!Delando in the Breakfast Buffet, Murph at the Mexican Restaurant, Mikalea in the Bar upstairs, Movian in Customer Support and all the bartenders in the Italian Restaurant were Fantastic! This place is well worth the money and we will be visiting again. We left feeling like we made friends and we look forward to going back. More>

Friendly staff but the bathroom sink and shower stalls have some wear and tear. Don't expect authentic Jamaican food. The food is watered down and flavorless. However the ackee and salt fish was most appreciated on Sunday. If you're looking to stay here look for the omlette station for breakfast and go to the specialty restaurants for dinner. More>
