Best Birthday Vacation Ever

My friends & I booked our vacation thru Delta Vacation. Best choice ever because our transportation to & from the airport was included. We even had a Delta Representative on-site, NacQuay, that helped us book our offsite excursion. She was amazing giving us little tips about the area, the resort & a little Jamaican History! Speaking of staff, Ray J was our favorite golf cart driver and all the bartenders were the best! I don’t have any complaints about the staff at all! We requested 2 rooms on the 2nd floor close each other and close to the lobby and we got exactly what we asked for!! Let’s talk about the food! Jerk Chicken/Pork With Rice & Peas at the Jerk Hut by the Beach was my favorite! MoBay Buffet was one of our favorites for Breakfast, the omelets are made to order! For lunch the buffet had something for everyone! We didn’t need extra seasoning on anything it was always perfect. I would suggest the steakhouse for dinner and make reservations for the Asia restaurant! Trust me you won’t regret it! You can’t go wrong with the Bob Marley, Red on Top, or anything with Appleton Rum. The drinks were always strong unless we asked for them to take it easy on us. We did the horseback riding at Chukka. Everyone there was so nice! Shout to Ricardo for keeping us calm, cool, and collected because we were nervous! It started storming and we thought the horses would be scared. They assured us these are Jamaicans horses they aren’t scared of anything! I definitely plan on returning to GP next year and staying longer!

I read reviews before i stayed & had a sceptical opinion of this resort,

Amazing resort, staff were superb, nothing was to much trouble. there are restaurants & bars in abundance, so no problems there & have to say the food was fantastic (Bubba's especially). the pools were clean & not overcrowded, the entertainment each evening was great & trips out were easy to organise, definitely recommend black river & nine mile. The beeches were stunning. if I were to criticise anything the suites on the Jamaica side were a little dated & could do with a facelift, this doesn't detract from the fact that they were clean & comfortable. I read a lot of reviews before my stay & feel them to be somewhat cynical, again the staff were magnificent, I could not speak highly enough of them, cleaners, gardeners, pool staff, hotel reps restaurant & bar staff made my stay an absolute pleasure, would recommend to all & will visit again next year. Thank you grand palladium for making my holiday a memory that will stay with me for life .

We returned From our holiday November 2017 our experience was outstanding, the food was great; we used most of the restaurants and the only one we wasn’t impressed with the service was the Mexican restaurant the waitress was not at all professional , didn’t clear tables between courses, bought food out and we had to hand dirty dishes to her so she could place our food down, the swim up bar staff was great, especially superstar Rorie, he was great entertainment, the rooms were well equiped and cleaned to good standards, the service from all staff was over and above, it would be unfair to single anyone out. Thank you to everyone who mad our holiday so memorable.

Such an Amazing Time!

A little bit late my review, but my best friend and I had a Fabulous Girlie two week holiday to this Amazing Hotel back in September while hurricane Irma was passing by. So although Jamaica was very lucky and Irma by passes the island, they had a lot of debris in the water and washed up on the beaches, but wow, the staff did a major clean up and were very quick to get the beaches looking beautiful again! So we checked in and was allocated Building 11 on the Jamaica side in room 1105, ground floor over looking the kids pool and it was perfect! The room was right by everything and a short walk pass the Infinity Pool to our favourite beach Las Brisas. Food was fantastic in every restaurant and I would say that this hotel has the best buffet restaurant I’ve ever been in and I’ve done “A Lot” of All Inclusives over a good few years in the Caribbean. Our server at breakfast was Lloyd and what a sweetheart he was. He really looked after us. We also found our favourite drinks...Sparkling Wine (Champagne as the staff called it) and for my friend a Rum Cream and then a cheeky “Bob Marley” on the side while watching the entertainment in the evening at the Infinity Pool. So to sum this holiday up..we had an Amazing Time! Our room was perfect ( thank you to Veronica our housekeeper) the weather was fabulous, even though we had rain some days and a couple of Crazy Thunderstorms. The beaches were Beautiful. Went on a couple of great trips. Met some Amazing People and it was everything we wanted for a memorable holiday. Thank you x
