My husband and I went here with another couple. Overall we had a good time. The facilities were pretty nice with a few minor things that were not. The breakfast buffets were pretty good, the lunch we usually skipped we didn't really like it much. The dinner buffets were the same as lunch, not great, but we would go to the specialty restaurants for dinner and we loved all of those. The sports bar was a spot we hit frequently in the evenings as the World Series was going on, and the food there is safe, bar style food, everyone enjoyed. The swim up bar is fun, in a little bit of disrepair, but overall fine. Loved the fresh coconut water everyday at the beer by area. They would bring coconuts and cut them open for you. The nightly entertainment wasn't great, watched very little of this. Seemed to be geared towards little kids a lot. Lots of good drinks, you have to try the dirty banana, so good!

Currently on my second week at this hotel was expecting 5*but I would not class it as that maybe a lower 4* . It is a big complex but found the evening entertainment not up to much was quite disappointed . Did not help that my friend had his English money stolen from the room was reported but nothing came of it . A lot of the staff in the restaurants were miserable which was not enjoyable . There are a lot of Canadians here at the moment and it's quite loud which if I had known I would of stayed away . A pleasant enough stay but won't be returning .

The Biggest Pool on the Island of Jamaica

If you are looking for a place to go and relax, then the Grand Palladium in Jamaica is the place to go. The staff treats everyone like royalty. They have the biggest pool on the island with a bar. They have tons of buffet and waiter service restaurants. Look no further and go to the Grand Palladium.

Great value!

We stayed twice at this resort and never written a review. The first time in a 1-bedroom suite on the Grand Palladium side, and the 2nd in a 'Honeymoon' suite on the Lady Hamilton side (4-room bungalows). Unless you stay in one of the bungalows, don't pay more for the Lady Hamilton side. It's the same resort, even the same long building with separate lobbies at each end. Except for our bungalow, our experience was the same both times. The bungalow rooms are worth the extra expense. They had just been renovated when we stayed there in Dec 2015. They are literally on the beach and very private. People with mobility issues will not like t his resort, it's built in a long stretch so expect a lot of walking, which we like (although it's a reasonable distance if you don't mind walking). The À la Carte restaurants are amazing. We had filet mignon at the Steak restaurant and the Asian restaurant is worth it. I was surprised that there is no seafood to be had, even at the seafood restaurant. Fish, but no shrimp meals. There are two, very different beaches, we enjoyed both for different reasons. The beach near the hotel is more relaxed and you can easily find an isolated spot. The small beach that you reach via a walkway is fun and great for snorkeling. Overall a great experience, I would recommend it and would return.
