-upon arrival our room was not ready waited 2 hours. - arrive in room on lady Hamilton side which we upgraded to cost us 6000 plus 1000 to upgrade to stay for 2 weeks which is our choice our room was filthy never cleaned properly the sliding glass windows to look out to ocean were never cleaned nor were the doors finger prints everywhere not just a little allot from past guest Sometimes our bathroom and tub was never cleaned tables etc not wiped down still had stains from our drinks on them the room was never really cleaned properly. -our fridge had 6 beer in it we tried to order more and was charge 160.00 American dollars for 6 beer and a 26 of vodka. - we tried to order 6 beer on another day they never brought it or even followed up with us. The person filling our fridge told us if we wanted 6 more beer when he fills it we would need to tip him 40 dollars. - we ask to borrow a pen from a worker he made us tip him 500 Jamaican to use it. - we went to Mexican restaurant the manager peter completely lost it on us for moving a table as we had 15 people with us. He stood over us so mad repeatedly yelling at us. - a man and woman were in a altercation physically called security they didn't care. A fellow had over drank and fell on floor and down steps as I am nurse I helped him no medical person even came along nothing at all no help except fellow patrons. - food was ok most of staff acted as though we were bothering them or they were doing us a favour for us to pay to be there. Very un happy staff. There was a few that were happy and helpful Rodney being one of them but not many at all. Was very very disappointed as we have stayed at the palladium in Mexico and in Dominican and fully enjoyed our self. We travel allot and this is the worst place I think iv stayed we always stay in nice place thinking this would be one but we were wrong.

Just returned from a 2 week holiday here forget the negative reviews this hotel was fabulous, the moaners need to build a hotel and stay in it together. Your children will absolutely love this place!! Where do I start... the food was good couldn't ask for more all the restaurants on offer we were spoilt for choice! The different drinks available and not to mention the bar attendants who made the best cocktails. My favourites were kevon and Roy they were great at knowing what I wanted and mixed the best drinks. The sunset cove beach was so beautiful and so relaxing, so many free water sport activities there too. All staff tried their best to be accommodating from waiters to cleaners but the kids club crew tessy, candi, shaniece and buttercup where amazing with my children and the other children there. The way they get the kids to rehearse a show in a hour then put on a display for all to see, I found so much better than the adult entertainment and the kids love talking part too. I was located on the lady Hamilton side next to kids club so I never needed the shuttle bus however they were only a phone call away when needed, Chris was very patient with the children who got very excited about the bus. The evening entertainment became repetitive after a while and the best party was the all white beach party made me feel as if I was really in Jamaica the hotel should do more things like that as both kids and adults have fun together. Tallawa, fluffy and happy from the pop were very friendly and made our time there fun. Jade and Damien were great receptionist and very friendly and good at giving advice. My room was cleaned daily by heather who did a great job and even left flowers on my clean bed, we got clean towels and the mini bar was restocked daily too. All in all the hotel is fabulous will definitely return and recommend it to others. It is in the middle of nowhere but if you are like me you will just get a taxi and go out to see Jamaica if not you can just stay in the hotel it has everything for you even a local market every Friday. Thanks grand palladium for a lovely stay your hotel is worth every star you have.

Fantastic hotel and excellent animation!

Our big family (11 persons including 5 grandchildren of different ages) were quite happy with the visit. The rooms and food, including the a la carte restaurants, were perfect, in spite of a little hard beds. There were lot of things to do for everyone. The animation activities were excellent! For us from Sweden, the prices of the SPA, were a little too high.

New Years in Jamaica

This year we traveled from December 26-Jan 9th. This was our 6th stay at a Palladium resort and our 2nd trip you the Palladium in Jamaica. We had a one bedroom suite on the Jamaica side of the resort. We room was exactly what we expected...beautiful. Halfway thru our trip we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite on the Lady Hamilton side. The room was newly renovated and was more than we expected. We ate at all the alacarte restaurants. Our favorite was the show table in the Japanese restaurant. Our least favorite this time was the Mexican restaurant. All the people working at the resort were polite and helpful. Our favorite bartenders were still working there after our last visit 3 years ago. It was a pleasure to see Martin and Jonathan again. This year we met Damian at the swim up bar and he was a joy. Our glasses were never empty. We enjoy the Palladium resorts so much we even joined the travel club this trip. I would recommend this resort to anyone.

PLEASENTLY Surprised!!!

My boyfriend and I decided to book a trip through cheapcarribbean.com and we came across the Grand Palladium Resort and Spa for a very reasonable price. Before booking, we wanted to read as many reviews as possible to ensure that we would have the perfect vacation. After reading over 50 reviews on the resort, we were very weary because of the overwhelming amount of bad reviews; however, we decided upon the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort and Spa because it is home to the largest pool in Jamaica. I requested that we had an ocean view and to be placed on the 3rd floor, however I was not at all expecting to be accommodated as I understand that it may have not even been possible during the week in which we were staying (01/11/17-01/18/17). We arrived on January 11th, 2017, the weather was gorgeous and we were greeted with a welcome drink. Check in was VERY fast! I was dreading the check in process because of the overwhelming amount of reviews that said the process was grueling. It took us about 5 minutes to check in! We were SO excited to hear that the resort upgraded our room from the Jamaica side to the Lady Hamilton side free of charge! Needless to say that started our vacation off so perfectly. We stayed in room 3326 and I would recommend trying to get this room strictly because of the view on the balcony! It was absolutely beautiful. The adult pool was directly across to us while we had an unbelievable view of Coral cove to our right and the ocean off the coast of Las Brisas Beach to our left. The room is a little far from the main area but my boyfriend and I had no problem with that and enjoyed the walk, however there is a shuttle service that comes almost every 5 minutes if you don't like to walk that far! One thing my boyfriend and I hated so much was that our phone didn't work! We weren't able to get room service at all. The pool area is absolutely amazing!!! One of my favorite things about the resort was that you could be laying by the infinity pool and still feel like you are on the beach as it is right behind you. There are multiple full bars, a swim-up bar, and a food hut that serves and grills up burgers, hot dogs, jerk chicken, jerk pork, and pasta salad. Very convenient and very good. Go to the 24 hour Sport's Bar on the side of the theater! You can get food and drinks all night while playing ping pong, pool, and foosball! We went there every single night to grab a bite to eat and some drinks before heading to our room! The buffet was not my favorite but my boyfriend loved it so it truly is preference. Be aware that most of their meat has bones in it which is common to the country! My boyfriend said the meat was so flavorful and tender. There was hardly ever a wait at the buffet because they have a pretty efficient seating system. I would like to make sure that Olando is recognized for going above and beyond in the work place to make sure everyone is having a fun and great experience in the buffet!!! He was so very nice and he sang a song for everyone. Along with his great personality he was a great waiter. The food in the restaurants are much better than the buffet! We went to the Asian, Mexican, and Indian restaurants and we were very pleased. The restaurants were gorgeous! The interior decoration is beautiful. We do not have any children but we really appreciated and noticed how great the staff at the kids club were with the children! They always were so warm and friendly with the children and always seemed to have some type of hand shake or inside joke, it was great to see. Also there is an amazing kids pool so that is not something to worry about. We got approached to do a free photoshoot and decided to do it! Akeem was our photographer and he was great! His personality is so lively and fun that my boyfriend and I really came out of our shell and got some great pictures. Rodney at the adult pool was such a great man and bartender and he made sure everyone was taken care of and had everything they needed. He made sure to put a smile on everyones face and make them laugh which is awesome. All in all we were so very pleased with the Palladium and would most definitely visit again...Hopefully in a year!
