We were sooo disappointed that the pool wasn't open. WE weren't told until day before that it wasn't open. We probably would have cancelled or pushed back trip. Its important that we had a pool on site that we could go because we had one in our party that has trouble walking. We liked atlantis but also wasn't told so many restaurants weren't open because it was off season. The pool was suppose to be open when we came.

I promised my girls a trip for their high school graduation. After all the research I decided on the Bahamas. Comfort suites was at the top of the list and had great reviews and access to Atlantis resort. We had a wonderful time. Everyone was so nice and accommodating.

Where is the comfort at Comfort Suites

Upon arrival I was greeted by a courteous staff member, Angelo who explained the access to Atlantis and the hotel breakfast schedule. As we proceeded to our room a strong smell of Febreeze and Lysol assaulted my nose. I was overtaken by the smell inside of my room as well; yet, I did not complain. The first night I noticed that the tub nor sink drained properly and by the third night I had to call maintenance. There was a three hour wait and I had to delay bathing. This would have been okay had the maintenance guy actually fixed the drainage issue. Nonetheless, while I waited I had to endure constant running overhead at 10:00pm at night! So, I tried to watch television only to be told by my niece that the television was preventing her from sleeping. I really believed this was a one bedroom suite with a separate living room area. However, I discovered that it was not a suite but an efficiency. What a disappointment especially since I have a timeshare and could have made other arrangements. This is an experience I will never forget for all the wrong reasons. I hope that the general manager will consider removing the carpet from the hallways and redesigning a few room to actually be a suite! Yes, I would pay more to stay in a hotel that is supposed to provide comfort from a long day of activities!

I did have some reservations as to whether we had chosen the right hotel for our trip. But from arriving at the airport, with transportation to the hotel, and early check-in, everything was beyond expectations for us. Great friendly service, above and beyond. Being vegans in the Bahamas is a tough call, but the hotel/restaurant staff made it a pleasure. We never used the pool here, but the facilities are really good.

The location was great. We were comfortable at this hotel. The dressing area could be larger that would be my only complaint.

Comfort Suites - Paradise Island - wonderful experience

We had a great time and loved the hotel. Had read reviews and didn't have any issues that folks had reported. We found all of the staff very professional, helpful and nice. Breakfast at times were busy but we adjusted and went earlier. Water pressure was fine. Very well run facility and well kept. We absolutely loved it and would go back. I would say our only complaint was that the pool water was too warm to our liking but there were certainly plenty of pools to choose from at the Atlantis. Have already recommended it to friends and family.

Clean, spacious, as expected

Traveled to PI with my friend, her husband and their 2 kids while her husband was at a conference. We had two connecting rooms which was perfect for the 5 of us. My friend’s husband had a conference at the Atlantis but we stayed here based on reviews and cost - especially with a 2 and 5 year old. Our rooms were clean, spacious and perfect for the little time we spent there. They served their purpose and I was pleased to come back to a well-cleaned/orderly room in the evening after spending our days at the Atlantis. The room rate includes access to the Atlantis which was a huge perk. The walk was totally manageable (with a stroller for the 2 year old who is easily distracted). Highly recommend as more cost effective place to stay while enjoying the perks of the aquariums and pools at the Atlantis.

We were fortunate to hold the Nassau Chapter of Links Incorporated's monthly meeting and dinner at Comfort Suites. The experience was first class from the parking to the walk back to our cars after the event. The meeting room was clean and spacious and the dinner at the Restaurant (Crusoe's) was a culinary delight. Kudos to Chef Burnside and the awesome team of Ruthermae Rolle, Oshema and Mr. Ellis who was so gentlemanly in escorting us to our cars. It really is an oasis with an exceptional team!

This was a celebration/get away experience. Breakfast is served every morning complimentary. They restaurant has a good menu and kids eat free once an adult orders. If you like the water park the Atlantis Water Park is free of charge when you check in and you can invite 2 guest to the park. had a really good time would certainly be returning.

Fantastic group experience from beginning to end!

I coordinated a group of 27 University of Dayton basketball fans from Ohio to come to Paradise Island for the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in November over Thanksgiving. I worked with Lakeisha in the group sales department, and I can absolutely say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Lakeisha was responsive and friendly in our phone conversations and e-mail communications. Everything was as expected (or exceeded expectations) when we arrived. The front desk staff was friendly and handled check-ins for 13 rooms so efficiently! Lakeisha had also recommended Majestic Tours for our airport transfers, and they provided excellent service, too. The property itself is so cute! Very clean with a nice pool. It is true, the water temperature was "quite refreshing." The property is easy to get around (other folks from our group stayed across the street at Atlantis, and it was much harder to navigate because it was so huge.) Comfort Suites has share privileges with Atlantis' pools/water park/aquarium. We went over there a couple of days, and it was fun, but we are definitely glad that Comfort Suites was the hotel we chose for our actual lodging. Food and beverage prices weren't cheap, but they were definitely more affordable than Atlantis, and the complimentary breakfast each morning was sufficient enough to serve as brunch, making lunch virtually unnecessary (or maybe just a snack late in the day...). University of Dayton basketball fans tend to like their adult beverages, and that leads me to the high praise of the bar staff at Comfort Suites. They have a pool bar and a lobby bar that share the same staff. Jamaal greeted us with our first experience of the friendliness of the bar staff on our first afternoon (WARNING: Gratuity is included, so watch your receipts--we "overtipped" on our first day, but that was our fault for not noticing). Michael, Cristal and the 4th bartender (whose name is escaping me) all took good care of us throughout our visit. A testament to the true friendliness and loveliness of these folks, one evening we were in the lobby bar for a glass of wine before bed, and Michael had closed the pool bar. He came through the lobby bar and chatted with members of our group for about 20 minutes before heading home for the night. He, no doubt, had worked a long day and probably wanted nothing more than to get home to his family, but he took the extra time to connect and make us feel special. If I had one critique, it would be that the door in and out of the breakfast area made it hard to take your food out without the help of someone holding the door for you (because it swung into the breakfast area, not out.) But once out, the food was delicious. Loved the bacon! Rumor has it that our Dayton Flyers will be back in this tournament in 4 years. I have no doubt whatsoever as to where we will stay if they return. Loved our 5 nights at the Comfort Suites Paradise Island--Thanks to everyone on the staff that made it such an amazing experience!

Nice hotel, FREEZING pool

The rooms are very nice, and the location is perfect. Only real complaint is that the pool was so cold I couldn't go in it. So cold, in fact, that everyone was commenting about it. Even kids said it was cold!
