At Sunscape Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, kids ages 3-12 will have a blast with all the fun-filled activities at the Explorer’s Club for Kids. We had some fantastic interactions with staff. Our bellboy (Christian on check in) was absolutely a delight. Christian, along with Oscar, also assisted us with are departure and made arriving and departing a very positive experience. Most of the bartenders and servers were friendly and where able to have some fun. No concerns with the cleanliness of the facility and felt it adequate for our needs. Our room was dated, we had some light bulbs that didn't work; however, it was important enough for us to request them to be fixed.

This Hyatt is the worst Hyatt I stayed in. It's got 4 stars but it should only have 2 stars. One for good service and two for good food. Our room needed a complete fix over. The toilet wasn't working properly, the curtains needed to be fix, the lamp near the bed wasn't working and the the pole in the closet kept falling down until we made them drill new holes with a new bracket. The bathrooms were never cleaned at the pool area. It was slippery and dirty. the shows weren't very good except for Mexican night and that was not on a stage. so people would walk across while the entertainers were performing. There is only one main restaurant so sometimes you had to wait 15-20 minutes to be seated. the other restaurants are only so so. It.s not worth the money they charge. Richard

This resort was ideally located close to airport. Resort is quite tired and needs some upgrading to facilities. Food was mostly adequate, buffet ok, the menu restaurants were not that great. The Italian restaurant was by far the best, food and service. Mexican restaurant was terrible, buffet style, uncomfortably hot and not enough choices. Expected more authentic a la carte menu. Seaside Grill was not open most nights, again disappointed. For a budget price, this is what to expect at this resort. Beach was great and the Entertainment crew made the time at the resort fun. Family resort.

Staff was so wonderful. Bellboys Cristian and Oscar were absolutely amazing. Entertainment guru Christian was absolutely amazing as well.

Best staff!
My fiancé, sister and her fiancé had the best experience at Sunscape! Between the ocean view and the wonderful staff. Starting off when we arrived; Christian, Oscar and a woman (I forgot her name) were very pleasant and welcoming. The bar staff, the kitchen staff and all of the cleaners were very kind our whole visit.
