Jan 26, 2026Amazing week in Cabo - will return!
My husband and I recently spent one week at Breathless Cabo for our honeymoon, and we had an incredible time. It was our first visit to Cabo, and although we were told it would be “cool,” we found the weather to be consistently warm and perfect—ideal for jumping into the pool every day! While the resort doesn’t have a grand lobby like some others, the space was still beautiful and welcoming. We upgraded to the Xhale Club, which was absolutely worth it. The Xhale Club bar was a fantastic spot to grab topshelf liquor, relax outdoors on the private balcony, play cards, or watch football. Ermey (I believe!) and Pedro provided outstanding service, always remembering our orders and making us feel genuinely welcome, they were so personable. Santiago was also incredibly helpful with spa reservations and transportation. The spa was a highlight of our stay. With Xhale Club access, we enjoyed daily hydrotherapy, which was totally worth it, and our couples massage was wonderful. We also loved the location, with easy access to the marina just steps from the resort. While there were frequent vendors, they were polite and respectful once you declined. Our third-floor room overlooked the marina, offering stunning views both day and night. I spent hours watching the sea lions—yes, they can be noisy, but it didn’t bother us at all. There was some construction next door, which could be mildly annoying at times, but it did not take away from our experience. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We spent most afternoons at the oceanview pool, which was the perfect temperature. Mariano was an amazing server, always keeping our drinks topped up and making sure we were comfortable and had a spot to sit. We enjoyed the DJ at this pool, but also appreciated having the quieter marinaview pool as an option. The beach was clean, the water was beautiful, and it was swimmable! We took a glass-bottom boat tour to see the Arch. While we didn’t spot any whales, we saw plenty of fish, beautiful scenery, and learned about the area’s history. The food throughout the resort was good—while not exceptional, it was enjoyable. The guacamole, however, was excellent and quickly became a daily favorite. All restaurants were easy to access, with only a short wait at Ocote. A full-day buffet option would have been a nice addition. The coffee shop was also great, with good coffee and sandwiches. Evening entertainment was hit and miss. This could be amped up a little but overall, still not much to complain about! We felt safe throughout our stay and truly had an amazing honeymoon experience. We would absolutely recommend Breathless Cabo and would happily return.

Amazing honeymoon experience!
My wife and I stayed at Breathless Cabo for our honeymoon. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. The food, service, entertainment, and views were all phenomenal. We're already talking about coming back for an anniversary trip.

Timeshare pressure, and food were the disappointment of this trip. The steak on the other hand was amazing! Room service food was terrible. The resort was very clean!! The room was average. The closet is too short to hang dresses or pants. It took days of asking to get extra hangers. We booked the Xhale club with the understanding of upgraded toiletries, a bottle of alcohol of our choice for the room, and tomahawk steaks from the Xhale club restaurant. They no longer provide those additions with your room upgrade. The resort was nice and in a great location.

Famous week
Location is perfect, so enjoyed all the action at the marina. The food was excellent, chicken enchiladas with green sauce every morning at bites, never an empty glass at the pool!

Pros: -heated pool with awesome view by beach -private beach area -all inclusive drinks and good selection of food - 24hr room service -fun nightly activities… live cover band roof top, karaoke, acoustic band, nfl football at Wink bar, -great location next to Marina, bars and restaurants. Safe to walk at night nearby -friendly English speaking staff -coffee shop great pastries and foofy coffee drinks -Fishnets very good seafood options -room service breakfast was perfect to start day, schedule ahead. Cons: -very difficult to get table at restaurants for group of 7 every night. They say to get reservation for 6 or more and when you try to make reservations they told us to just show up early… we show up and they say 40 min wait. Ocote was most popular and hardest to go to. We never ate there. -The layout is kind of crazy. It’s a maze of elevators and buildings to get to pool and beach and all restaurants from our rooms. -construction was very loud at 7am everyday -They pushed us a bit too much about the 3hr timeshare meeting. My sister did the mtg and we got a bottle of patron and cabana for a day. It was not worth time on vacation. Cabana was not really a big deal. There are plenty of chairs nearby for no extra fee. - No smoking anywhere
