Worst hotel we have been too… horrible food and fat shamed
The hotel is the most ignorant and pathetic hotel we have ever come across!!! Stay well clear and we will never return. We had previously visited this hotel and loved it the in 2024 so returned in 2025, a big mistake. Before check in we were told you were not allowed to at the front and had to use underground parking, even though our car was too big to allow me to open the boot, this meant that we struggled to get out luggae out, to then find out they allow people to park out front if you are part of a car rally club, some cars were okay some were old and cheap. At check in it was like being at a 1 star hotel, no greeting or greeting of return, the receptionist didn’t even know the cost of breakfast for the couple in front of us and we didn’t even get offered any add on like breakfast. We then tried to book the restaurant to be told the receptionist didn’t know how, and had to ask to then be told they couldn’t book us on and we had to visit the restaurant itself, even though it was closed and didn’t open till 7pm…. So I had to walk in to a closed restaurant that was getting ready for service to try to book. Ron was okay, cleanish but the staff and hotel management are a complete disgrace! So at dinner in the restaurant we finally managed to get a table we orders two steaks and some sides, and a couple of cocktails. The steaks came both undercooked, my wife who only likes her steak well done was presented with a medium steak which she couldn’t eat. So we asked the waiter to correct this. The waiter didn’t originally want to take back the rest of the food but what was going to happen to the food, just me eat alone or my wife eat cold food? So he agreed to take all the food away. When he brought it back my wife’s steak was was now well down but it wa the same price of steak, as was mine and then the sides that followed were the same sides that were now cold and limp. After the meal which cost over €200 I complained and the hotel management told me that they had checked with he head chef and he had mentioned that he had cooked fresh steaks and the sides were all fresh, which was a total lie! After going back and forth the managements agreed to charge me 50% of the food bill which I agreed upon. However that wasn’t the last of the poor service nor comment and things got worse. The following day I wanted to go the spa having endured a day of walking around Paris. My wife was staying in the room with the dog so I tried on my robe which being a larger man didn’t fit. So I went down to the spa with my trunks in hand and waited at the spa reception for a while. I was then advised by the spa that I wasn’t allowed into the spa without wearing a robe and when I explained that it didn’t fit I was told its hotel policy and they couldn’t let me in. So I returned to the room and tried on the robe again and guess what, it still didn’t fit. So my wife said to just go down and walk past them and go into the spa. So I did, and there wasn’t even anyone at reception. What amazed me was that there was people coming to use the faculty (not guests at the hotel) without robes. In fact not one person who was using the spa had robes on, but yet the hotel can fat shame guests as they don’t provide bigger gowns and stop them from using the facilities. When I made the management of the hotel aware they were not interested at all! They believed that as they had discounted my meal down I had been compensated enough on my stay and despite me bringing a lot of issues to them they took no interest. What makes this worse I after the stay I contact guest relations at Hilton head office and they reached out to the hotel, they even said to them that they should discount my stay, the hotel refused. Head office then said they would discount down my satay due to the poor service and how I was made to feel and could the hotel refund me and head office would cover the cost in invoice, the hotel then refused this too. The service and attitude of Morgane and Stephanie Ramaud is that of a 1 star hotel and hopefully Hilton can get rid of them soon enough as they don’t shaa as re the same values or level of service that a Hilton brand hotel should carry. For reference we stayed at Le Harve Garden Inn by Hitlon which had a far better service at a fraction of the price. Even if a stay had things go wrong it’s how you handle them and treat the guest, you know the people that they are there for, instead the ignorance of Stephanie and her team in fat shaming guests and refusing to acknowledge wrong meant our stay was tarnished and will result in us never stepping foot in there again. I hope Hilton look into this further as how not to treat customers!! If they get rid of the poor management I would return.

A Lovely Stay
We had a lovely stay. The woman at reception was friendly and welcoming. Our room was quite comfortable and spacious. We stayed here primarily to dine at the Gordon Ramsey restaurant. It was excellent and it was so nice to have just a short stroll back to the comfort of our room.

Very elegant hotel next to the Palace of Versailles.
The location is excellent, just right next to the Palace of Versailles. We stayed there for 2 nights and enjoyed the quiet surroundings, nice service, and comfortable amenities. The room was spacious and clean, the decoration was a little bit outdated and could use some renovation, but it's not really a problem. The lobby area was very elegant, and the first floor had some nice restaurants, though on the pricey scale. The swimming pool was beautiful, but could use some updated too as you could tell the aging of the area, however it's not really a problem either. The breakfast had enough varieties and the dining area was set nicely facing the park of the Palace of Versailles, but there's no cooked-to-order meals, which was a shame, and only jarred honey instead of fresh ones, which was a bit disappointing for a 5-star hotel. Overall the experience was pretty good, though could use some improvement.

Great hotel!
Great location and excellent service. Stayed here our first night after arriving in France. Easy to get to Versailles. Great sized rooms, very comfortable and quiet. Had dinner at Gordon Ramsay Au Trinion that was delicious and breakfast was very easy and good.

Underwhelming.
Okay so I’m going to start by saying Maxim on the front desk was nothing but a true gent - helped us out with questions, with some issues we had and went over and above as did the hotel manager. Checked in and we were staying in the pavilion across from the main hotel - be warned readers the pavilion is not in anyway attached to the main hotel unless you go through the underground hallway. Room was okay - the pavilion is labelled as a 4 star accommodation, sadly I would disagree. The room smelt musty and was dusty, the hotel has plugged in air fresheners so I thought let’s just crack on and have a good time. Our bathroom - bath didn’t drain well so if you had a shower you had to be quick as it would fill up, light bulbs not working and neither was the extractor fan so the bathroom filled with steam so we got ready in the main room using the mirror which behind is where you find the mini bar and tea and coffee making machine. The bed was SO comfy I will say and the housekeeping team did a good job each day at making up the rooms. We dinned only once in the hotel - on the terrace. Order was taken by some guy who worked there. All the terrace workers seemed more interested in talking to each other and we had to ask for menus, more drinks etc - this is in the 5 star part of the hotel, not good enough. We ordered our meals and after an hour and 10 mins had passed asked where our burgers were, obviously the guy didn’t put our order in and shot off quickly. He did give us some free drinks, but when the mains turned up it was 9:45pm. We came back one day and were locked out of our room as the key cards had stopped working, so off we walked back over to the main hotel for it to be fixed and then the wifi went down for the evening- no wifi isn’t the end of the world I know but it was just as I was sending emails for work. Looks wise yes it looks 5 stars as you pull into the ground, but I think there’s some work to do overall on the team, maintenance & experience of guests. If you go to the pool - the lady lifeguard is strict and tells you the rules before you get in the pool. I’m 36 years old not a child, I didn’t need to be told anything when it comes to swimming!! Also what is up with the no plug sockets next to the beds? You have to hunt them down and we had devices plugged in all around the room, most bizarre!
