    Nice, but …

Nice resort, conveniently located but limited beach access. We stayed on the second floor at the western end of the pool. The waterfalls are very load and are running 24 hours, we could not sleep with the windows open, although the place itself is reasonably quiet. The kitchen was suitably equipped to cook simple meals. Part of the furniture should be replaced, especially the filthy sofa.

    Paradise in Paradise.

This is our 6th or 7th yearly visit to WBRS on Kauai. We have loved on the island and love the place. This resort is perfect for us, great comfortable rooms with great beds, kitchen, pool, beachfront (but not a swimming beach) and access to the entire island. Very quiet. The onsite staff is gracious and helpful and make you feel welcome. Parking s free and safe. Grocery stores and services are across the street. The front staff, Lani, and manager, Belinda, provided great service when needed. We had a problem with the AC on our first night and it was resolved the next morning. Belinda also kindly offered us a free dinner which was appreciated. The hotel staff is present until 7 and after that you must call an off site person (way offsite) who was of little help. Belinda and Lani took care of the issue the first thing in the morning but an offsite person could have assisted us with a simple solution if they had that info. The next day a very helpful repairman solved the AC issue in 30 seconds. Towel service and pool is great. Beach chairs on beach are so relaxing. The grounds are immaculate. The Oasis restaurant, on site was great. Great fish, drinks and dessert.

Can’t wait to go back. A perfect place for families.

Love, Love, Love this place. My family will never forget the memories we made here. Accommodations , 2 bd 3 bath was so beautiful and comfortable. Beds were so cozy. The grounds are amazing, well kept and convenient. Slides were perfect size for our kids and adults. Our one year old loved it too. The restaurant had the best food and cocktails. The sunrise at the beach was a treat every morning with the whole family. We stayed 10 days and we had more we could’ve done. Can’t wait to go back.

    Very pleased with our stay

Overall loved our stay here! PROS: Wonderful pool, ample beach seating - we always found chairs or loungers available. Also easy to find a table with umbrella for shade. -Oasis restaraunt, on site, great view, food and service. -1 Bedroom/2 bath, washer and dryer in room - important to me for a 2 week stay. -----condo was very clean and spacious - up to date. - Very convenient as there was a Safeway grocery store, Shave Ice and several restaurants just across the street. - Very nice walking path on the back side of the resort past several other beach resorts and restaurants with a beach view. You will make a left out of the canal sidewalk and then a left onto the labeled bike/pedestrian path. Continue onto the sidewalk. After passing a few beachside resorts, you will come to a grassy/dirt path through parkland that continues to another sidewalk - just continue past Lava Lave Beach Club until you reach the ocean. - Tuesdays and Thursdays there was a Farmer's Market at Coconut Market place within walking distance. - Short walk to Lemongrass Grill - wonderful Macademia Nut encrusted Sea Bass - For the 2 week stay there was one complimentary light cleaning of the condo - really appreciated that. - much available parking, never had a problem finding a spot near our unit. CONS: We used a travel agent/package - the resort would not reveal which condo we would have until arrival. I paid for a Garden View but received a Parking lot view (Condo A205) with one Palm at the window and some view of a mountain. This was disappointing but did not let it ruin things for us.

    Waipouli H101 is the best!

Stayed in H101, the best location on this property. Amazing view of the ocean! Just steps from the surf. The unit is impeccable with many premium features ranging from ultra modern kitchen to upgraded linens. This unit is right next to the Oasis restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. Can't say enough about how great our vacation was!
