Very clean, staff is very nice and attentive! The rooms are air conditioned well and the beds and bathrooms are well maintained and work fantastic. The pools are clean and comfortable, The restaurants are well organized and have great selections. Jorge with the Mixology cart was very Helpful and so fun to talk to as well as the other bar tending staff. Overall, such a fun environment for spring break or any other vacation!

Velas Vallarta #1
Velas Vallarta was one of the best places I have ever stayed. Service was fantastic. All workers were extremely polite. Room was beautiful and extremely clean. Everyday service was amazing. Food and activities were great. I am looking forward to returning to this amazing resort.

Wonderful!!
Wife and I did our spring trip this year to Velas Vallarta and were thoroughly impressed. Great location - quiet and peaceful with a quick Uber ride just about any where if you were looking for more hustle and bustle. Food was good. Service was spectacular from beginning to end. Certainly one of our top 5 Vacations.

Great family vacation!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Velas Vallarta! We have a 3 yo and went with another couple with 2 small kids, and were very impressed overall. The children's pool was perfect, and our toddler loved the first pool with the waterfall. It was fairly quiet during our week, (was there week after Easter), so did not have to worry about finding lounge chairs or towels. It picked up on the weekend. They give you plastic cards to exchange for towels, which is a smart way to keep the pool space free of excess towels everywhere. The servers were amazing, very attentive, and the drinks and pool food menu were very yummy. Enjoyed the shrimp cocktail, and the nachos were superb. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which worked best for our needs, and requested a crib. There was no pull out sleeper sofa. Note the floor is marble, so very hard, so be mindful with kids and wet feet. Both restaurants were very good, some items certainly better than others. Plenty of juice and smoothie options which was great for kids. We visited Jorge the mixologist on Friday- we were told he is just there on weekends, so be sure to visit him if you can, his drinks are really amazing. Javier the yoga instructor was fantastic too, really enjoyed his classes. We researched many hotels, and are so glad we landed with this one. I liked how it felt a bit more authentic than others, and a good choice for those traveling with kids, however saw many couples with and without kids too. I liked the location also being close to the airport, and while you do hear the planes, it is not constant. Hope to return next time we go to Puerto Vallarta!

The Best Place to Celebrate Turning 60!
This is a beautiful hotel. The staff are attentive, kind and courteous. The hotel grounds are gorgeous - it invites you to take a stroll and just breathe. Our room had the most lovely view of the ocean - every morning, coffee in hand we would sit on our balcony and talk - completely unplugged from everything else. We were rested and refreshed and so well taken care of. The food was great! Both restaurants on the property give you authentic tastes of Mexico. This is a place we will return to! What a great find for us!
