    Wonderful Stay at UNICO 20°87° — Exceptional Service!

    We had an absolutely wonderful experience at UNICO 20°87°! We’ve stayed at several all-inclusive resorts, and UNICO was easily the nicest we’ve visited, with the best service we’ve experienced. The absolute highlight of our trip was our concierge, Zuleima. She was truly fabulous and made our stay extra special. She took excellent care of us, made every request completely seamless, and went above and beyond to make my husband’s birthday memorable. She genuinely made our trip, and we can’t say enough wonderful things about her! Overall, the food was great! We especially loved the à la carte lunch options and snack bars. Avec was fantastic, and Mi Carisa was another favorite. The teppanyaki experience at Mura House was a lot of fun! We also enjoyed the steakhouse, although the steaks were a bit smaller than we expected. The pools were beautiful, incredibly clean, and well-maintained. The poolside service was consistently excellent, with staff regularly checking in for food and drink orders. The beach is on the smaller side, but we appreciated having attentive servers there as well. We also enjoyed a lovely 80-minute massage at the spa, which was a great way to relax during our stay. One thing we really appreciated was the size of the resort. It’s smaller and very walkable, making it easy to get everywhere without feeling like you’re spending half your vacation getting around. Housekeeping was also impressive, with our room being cleaned and refreshed multiple times throughout the day. We booked our stay during a Black Friday promotion, and it was absolutely worth it. Having visited several other all-inclusive resorts, we can confidently say UNICO has been our favorite so far. The property is beautiful, the food is great, and the level of service really sets it apart. We would absolutely return! And if you’re lucky enough to have Zuleima as your concierge, you’re in excellent hands. She truly made an already wonderful vacation unforgettable!

    Our stay was wonderful. The food was good, staff were all very friendly, and our host Zuleima was outstanding. She was very attentive, friendly, and helped with reservations and answering any questions we had.

    UNICO 20⁰ 87⁰ a VERY enjoyable resort!

    We stayed for 8 nights initially in an Alto Ocean View room, which was very nice and enjoyable. Half way through our stay we asked our local host Isaías about a room upgrade for the remainder of our time there. He worked with the resort to get us an amazing deal and we moved to an Alto Panoramic Ocean Front room. The view from the oceanfront room was fantastic and the sound of the waves was wonderful to listen to while falling asleep! Isaías was very personable, and responsive every time we contacted him to make reservations for dinner, events, to ask for room service request, or ask general questions about the resort. He even wrote us a hand written Anniversary note and placed it on the bed surrounded by two roses and a bunch of rose pedals. Aside from how amazing our local was, the staff in general was very kind, greeting us almost every time we walked by, with inviting and genuine smiles. The food and experiences at the restaurants were top notch, and the variety in pools and pool activities was very enjoyable. That being said, if you have food by the pool keep an eye on it because of the little racoon looking creatures will come over and snatch it right up. The drink variety and flavors at the bars, lounges, and restaurants were all very good (the mixology class was superb), as well as the café drinks. Also, if you like coffee and you like alcohol based coffee drinks, then you MUST get a Mayan Coffee at Cueva Siete, made by Carlos! He makes a great show out of it and he is an amazing waiter as well! Luis was our go to waiter at Mi Carisa each morning for breakfast! Great waiter, very kind, remembered our names and our previous mornings order every time. Had enjoyable conversations with him each morning. Heads up, when you check into the resort someone will come over and try to pitch a timeshare to you, though they will say that it is not one. They will offer you discounted services in exchange for sitting through their pitch. Just tell the person no if you do not want them bothering you for the remainder of your stay. There were too many food choices and activities happening each day for us to truly experience everything the resort has to offer, but with the time we had there we truly had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend this resort!
