  TRS Coral Thankgiving trip

  While not everything at TRS Coral is five-star, the staff absolutely is. Every team member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring. Our butlers, Hector and Ivan, were outstanding and handled all our dining and activity reservations with patience and kindness. Pool and bar service was excellent, especially Fernando (“Speedy Gonzales”), who took great care of us at our swim-up pool. Dining servers—especially at El Gaucho—and the Thanksgiving brunch staff were also fantastic. We also loved interacting with the activities team. Dante, Alan, and the rest of the staff made every activity fun, engaging, and entertaining. And finally, housekeeping did an incredible job. Our room was perfectly made up each day and turned down beautifully every night. The rooms were comfortable but show some wear, and while the food was mostly just okay, the Italian restaurant and Thanksgiving brunch stood out. One downside on the adults-only TRS side is the lack of quick snack options. Our room was a swim-up room on the first floor, room #2026. Most of the time, the noise level was quiet, but at night the music coming from the Gravity Bar was very loud. The Gravity Bar is on the third floor opposite our room and seemed to echo between the buildings. The sound was manageable but worth noting. Unfortunately, check-in was the most frustrating part of our stay. When we arrived, the resort did not have us listed in swim-up rooms, and our family ultimately ended up in separate buildings. Overall: The staff truly made our stay special. With better reservation management and refreshed rooms, TRS Coral could fully match the incredible service their team already delivers.

  Best hotel

  Great hotel, loved the room very spacious, our butler's Jimmy and Yessica were the most attentive and gave us the best service. The pool is beautiful and the restaurants were all amazing.

  Short Stay

  Okay. Had fun on the beach. Enjoyed seeing a lizard and soaking up some fresh air. Room service is a plus.

  Bored

  The Hotel is very high class. Food on the TRS side was amazing, the French restaurant La Bohème was incredible. Our waitress Stephany was amazing. We booked another day and she made sure we had the best table. She also had them make a special dessert for us. We also enjoyed the Italian restaurant Tentazione. The waiter there took such good care of us he went out of his way to bring us dessert. El Gaucho was also amazing and the waiter was great. Helios we seen the same waiter everyday for either breakfast or lunch. And he was totally awesome. Our butlers were so sweet. Everything was so wonderful but my only disappointment was there was not much to do there. Only exercising at the pool. I didn't come to Mexico to exercise. Other adult only hotels in the area had things to do every 1/2 hour. Making bracelet, bingo, massage class, painting, cooking classes, drink making classes, games. At night starting at 8 pm other places has live outdoor entertainment and games like Twister, Love and Marrige, Truth or dare. And the had Fire show, cowboy show, Mariachis, acrobatic performance, TRS did have some entertainment mostly in the Galaxy Bar and most nights just a DJ. I saw Karaoke in the list of activities but then it changed. There was one night by the piano bar where there was a Magic Show. That guy was Awesome. Really laugh with him. 10 day and only really enjoyed the Magic show. And lastly the coffee shop is on the Palladium side. Long walk to get a specialty cup of coffee. There should be a specialty coffee shop on the TRS side. In conclusion I would go back just because of the people like Daniel, Stephany, Marianna, Luis and many more who were very nice. Everyone even the maintenance men would greet you. But wish they get a little more fun in the entertainment aspect.

  First time in Costa Mujeres area, the beaches did not disappoint with white sand and good swimming. We had a swim up room which was perfect for our needs as we could rest and relax with privacy. That being said, although we were told the resort was near capacity, the pools and beaches never felt too congested. The food and bars were top notch; every meal was amazing and was way better than any other resort we’ve been too. Our butlers Eladio and Benjy were fantastic. Both were incredibly helpful and personable without being intrusive.
