This was our first time staying at this property. My only complaint is that we were there in January and it was over run by family's and kids. The family's let the kids do their thing without supervision. Also, there were suppose to be Bach Ambassadors to monitor the use of beach chair, I saw one or two the first day and never saw one again for the next six days I was there. People would put towels on the chairs and never come back. I watched tourist after tourist looking for chairs totally bewildered. You would think someone would monitor this. Other then that we had a great time. The beach was nice, the water was great. The one thing I really need to compliment is the Bar staff. Danny, Jan and Claudia were absolutely amazing to us. Took suck good care of us and made us feel very welcome. I must say Jan, is by far the best mixologist I've ever encountered. The breakfast buffet was great and the room was nice.
Front Desk Staff and Check-In Experience Set the Tone
I am taking the time to write this review specifically to call attention to the fantastic service provided by Recena at the front desk during our check-in experience. Don’t get me wrong, the hotel itself, amenities, etc. can all be read about through other reviews so I won’t address them here. But I have never felt more welcomed or appreciated as a Bonvoy member than I was when my daughter and I visited the Westin and were welcomed by Recena. The craziest part is she told us she was just “in training” and if that’s the case, Marriott needs to figure out how to get her on the fast track. Thank you Recena for setting the tone for a great trip!
This is our fourth visit to the Westin and we absolutely love it! We have stayed in many very nice resorts and never cease to be impressed with the staff, service and quality of the resort. I would like to especially recommend the Hibiscus Spa. I had a wonderful facial and the Lomi Lomi massage by Tia and it was by far the best massage I have ever had!!!
I can’t say enough about the hard working staff at this place. They were incredible! Great location. Great service. Great room. Loved that the water Excursions desk was located inside this hotel. We went with a conference and they handled this with the star ratings.
Westin Resort - Seven Mile Beach
Our trip was fabulous. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, caring, and the feeling of making our trip full of memories. We are Platinum members with Marriott, on our arrival we were upgraded to a partial ocean view, free breakfast each morning, and daily meal coupons. All the staff from the start till the end of our visit did an expectation job to make our trip enjoyable. The resort is well maintained, multiple activities to enjoy at the resort or near by. Many suggestions on what attractions to visit and how to get there. Use the public transit system to get from point A to B, it is inexpensive and comes every 8-10 minutes out front of resort. Enjoy the beach first thing in the morning or later in the day, it does get busy! Enjoy the happy hour and daily activities the resort offers. All the folks of Grand Cayman are very respectful, helpful, and compassionate. It is one of our favorite islands we ever visited. Looking forward to another return.
