    November 2025 Atlantis Trip

We have been coming to Atlantis at least once if not twice a year and every other year we would bring our entire family. This visit was disappointing. It wasn't one big issue but several little issues. The shower took a minute to adjust as it was on backwards. If you wanted hot you had to turn the dial to cold, and the pressure was poor. The food wasn't very good this time except for Murray's as we love going there. Chop Stix food was good, but staff wasn't very friendly. Poseidon Table was very expensive and they food from the buffet was not very warm. I got stir fry and it was good because it was made in front of you. One place we found was a little restaurant at the end of the marina walk. It was great and so was the staff. We walked that each morning and food was great. Several of the slot machines in the casino were out of order for about 3 days but, most were back up the day before we left. We all enjoyed being together it could have been much better.

Outstanding local guidance and warm service!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience thanks to Jade Sands in Guest Services. When we arrived, we were excited but honestly a bit overwhelmed by all the things to do in the area. That’s when she stepped in and completely changed the tone of our trip for the better. With a warm smile and a true local’s perspective, she helped us plan a full day of activities that we never would have discovered on our own. She recommended hidden gems, local food options, and experiences that gave us a genuine feel for the community. Every suggestion was spot on, and we ended up having one of the best days of our entire trip. Her knowledge, professionalism, and enthusiasm for the island really stood out. Most of all, we appreciated how she took the time to understand what we enjoyed and tailored her recommendations just for us. It felt like getting advice from a friend who really knows the area. If you stay at The Royal, do yourself a favor and visit Jade at guest services. She’s a true asset to the hotel and made our stay unforgettable!

    Underwhelmed at Atlantis

Wife and I went to Atlantis for our honeymoon booked through Costco travel. 50% of restaurants were closed, hot tub was cold the entire time we were there. We arrived to our room with no shower curtain. Just felt like this resort missed the mark here, there is so much room for improvement and for this price you as a guest deserve better from this resort. My wife and I cut our trip 2 days early which was a bummer, resort could have done better.

SNEAKY AND SHADY PRACTICES, DO NOT GO THERE - GO ELSEWHERE.

I was there as part of a large conference the first week of November. Overall, the resort itself is fun but the service is VERY POOR. I would not go back. The resort is very shady in terms of their business dealings, they are constantly trying to prompt you for a tip when everything already had a 15% auto gratuity. They would say things like "Press the green button to NOT tip". It was a very sneaky tactic, and I'm not surprised at all. Our group of over 300 people spent over 7 figures for 3 days of conference, our company gave us gift cards of $600/couple and my business partner who was sitting next to me in Silan was told he could not use his gift card because the system was down. We were there for lunch on Thursday November 6th at around 1 PM. This was a complete lie, as the gift cards are run through the debit/credit machine terminals. The young man serving us with the dreadlocks basically lied, I chimed in and told him I had been to Silan 3 days in a row and have used my gift cards every day. He took it to the manager who proceeded to giving me a lot of attitude. In addition, they charged me for a coke and a panna water that I DID NOT RECEIVE OR ORDER. I made them take $15 off the bill, then they gave me more attitude. I have made it very apparent to our event manager that we should not return to Atlantis, as this resort is run by very sneaky individuals trying to rip off their guests.

Great place to be with family. Hopefully more specials to make it more affordable for more families to come and enjoy Atlantis.
