Wonderful trip as a couple
It was a memorable experience and a wonderful trip with my spouse to celebrate our 20th anniversary together. A tons of activity to do, great water park and a paradisiac beach. A trip will remember for a long time but will most likely never repeat, as every single thing is overprice (food, drinks, etc.). Being from Canada and adding the exchange rate on top of it doesn't help....

Customer service
I stayed at the resort in May this year. I really wanted to do a bucket list fishing trip. I was inexperienced and Tanisha from guest services went above and beyond to get my trip planned and was extremely patient in getting me all the necessary information. Without her getting me comfortable and all my questions answered im not sure inwould have had this bucket list trip. Thank you so much Tanisha, we really appreciate it.

Family Focused
Overall, my family loved our time at the Atlantis! The amenities offered for families, especially the aquariums and beautiful beaches is worth everything! The first time my husband and I came to the Atlantis we could not get over how wonderful and pleasant every single worker was. This time we were baffled with how hit or miss it was - either we received the same excellent service, or it was the WORST service we have ever had at any destination. Some individuals were beyond NASTY and clearly were annoyed by simple questions we were asking. I worked in customer service for many years and never in my wildest dreams could I imagine speaking/interacting with anyone that way. I would say most specifically in our Royal tower is where we had the worst interactions at guest services, photo center, and at the food/coffee market near the buffet. We would definitely re-think staying in this tower!! Also, there was an issue with our photo purchase where we received a duplicated photo and are missing THE ONE photo we placed the entire order for! I reached out to the resolution team and are still waiting to hear back! I would LOVE for someone to reach out and assist me in getting our missing photo.

Wonderful trip!
Overall, it was a wonderful trip to the Bahamas. We stayed at the Royal. For the savings, I think the other Atlantis hotels would have been just as nice because you can access most of the same amenities. We did a lot of activities off of the resort, so that is a barrier for travel. The hotel makes everything easy though and the staff are friendly. The food is expensive, which is the main area of improvement that I think would be great to see. Gratuities are also partially included in all of the restaurants, which I am comfortable with but feel should be disclosed up front.

Vegas in paradise!
Beautiful property, friendly staff. There is A LOT of walking if you have older family or little ones. It is VERY busy with families and casino. It’s almost like a Vegas in paradise! Music is always playing, if you are easily overstimulated or like quiet, this place is not for you. So many activities for kids, but it will cost you. The aquariums are amazing, so impressively built and maintained. Love the ocean. No tables or palapas at beach. You have to be very lucky to get a chair with pull down shade. Vendors are allowed on the beach, which I’m not a fan of being approached. Limited wait staff on beach if you like that. Great shopping! Great variety of restaurants. Our room had a mildew scent that we just got used to. Bathrooms have tub showers, I’m guessing because many kids are there. So no deluxe fancy shower if you like that! We had some issues with a charge, that we will dispute on Am Express card. They were not bothered by the issue, and did not escalate. All in all, it depends on what you are looking for in a vacation!
