A relaxing enjoyable long stay for wind sports
It was a relaxing well run operation, with attentive staff, and a friendly vibe. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. We stayed almost a month and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, food, entertainment, drinks, and especially the location because it is a perfect spot for wind sports like kitesurfing and wing foiling next door on Coco Beach, and the dive shop on your property is very good with the best location. We stayed here 10 years ago and will do so again. We liked that it was not a huge all inclusive complex.

Not for me again only thing I liked was location. We paid for premier not worth it.
The food is not good. The hostess lady at buffet was rude and not accommodating at all. Servers are good so are bartenders. Beer options horrible only 2 beers too choose from.

Don’t do the Vacation club
It’s not a 5 star resort. The leading vacations gig is quite pushy. It is insanely awful to navigate, then they want to charge you more money if you want them to do it for you. Holy geez with all these “forms” what a pyramid scam. Sadly we are stuck in it. Every time you return they push to upgrade you more. Or try to sell you their services that they are your personal butlers. But I still have to fill out your damn forms. Now all the forms I have filled out I feel will be intentionally unsold as I refused to pay them 11k more so they can take more money and we will be at higher loss. Currently looking for another platform to sell weeks.

Management of the facility and their policies/rules were not conducive to promote a fun atmosphere to have a good time!
Mmost of our trip has been very enjoyable but there was 1 episode that we are very distressed over, the, italian restaurant was great but we were not informed fully of the xtra charge for the bottle wines, when we were charged $300 for 3 bottles of wine we were very disappointed, it was not clarified when we ordered how much xtra we would be charged, we took our concerns all the way to Mr Irving and the best we could receive was a modest discount, we have tipped very generously throughout our trip and enjoyed the amenities but this was a black mark on your resort, we will be leaving a bad review for 8 individuals and its a shame because we only wanted to compromise by meeting half way on the wine charge, no worries management didn't seem to think it was important to leave stellar reviews, but for the staff, Boris in particular, were very friendly!

Poor food.
Over all hotel standards are good, it’s cleaned continuously. Excellent location, 10 min walk to 5th avenue. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are cleaned daily, fresh towels, and Spacious. Downfall…… the hotel buffet restaurant is poor, not much selection. No taste to the food. Food is always luke warm. The pre booked restaurant ( Italian) absolutely horrible. Snack bar is ok but again it’s Luke warm. Not much for evening entertainment. Every time it rains the power goes off, hotel was without power for roughly 6-7 hours. The beach smells of sewage most days and is worse when it rains. Hotel is pretty quiet mainly. I don’t feel this hotel was worth the money I paid, I have stayed in a few hotels in Mexico and this one is a definite no no for me.
