May 16, 2025A Magical Family Getaway at Atlantis
We absolutely loved our stay at Atlantis! The resort is stunning—beautifully designed, very clean, and we felt completely safe throughout our visit. There were plenty of activities for both kids and adults to enjoy, from water slides and pools to relaxing at the gorgeous beach. The Marina Village was a fun spot to explore, and seeing all the marine life in the aquariums was truly amazing. One area for improvement would be clearer communication on restaurant bookings ahead of time to help ensure availability. Overall, an unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent family vacation
Positives: - Great for families and kids of all ages. - Multiple lifeguards at all pools, especially kids only areas. - Staff was polite, friendly and generally had a great vibe - 7 around the clock shuttles between the hotels - Lots of food options and food was great everywhere. - Beach/ocean at the Reef is the best! - Overall cleanliness was impressive, especially at lobby and pool bathrooms. - Room size was great. Mini kitchenette was handy. - Temps were great in May. Didn’t feel crowded at all. All the restaurants had availability. Opportunity for improvement: - the pull-out couch is not comfortable, get the double bed room instead. - prices of everything (bottled water etc) vary from store/hotel/pool. Hint: get your bottled water from the basketball court/gym.

Best Vacation Ever
We stayed I think near/at the end of the spring busy season and it was a great time to go. Fantastic experience. Rooms were great, the staff were friendly and helpful and the water park is a ton of fun! Plus the property is absolutely beautiful. We can't wait to go back!

May 11, 2025Our stay at The Reef in Atlantis
The Reef Hotel @ Atlantis is beautiful. We loved their beach and pool. Very secluded and not crowded at all. Beautifully maintained beach. I see them cleaning it every morning from my balcony. Staff are very friendly and welcoming unlike The Royal. Maid service is very good. I learned that the mandatory maid gratuity charged to your room is not really a maid tip. It is used to pay their wages so tip your maids a few dollars if you feel like they did a great job which they did for us. Food is not very good at Atlantis so if you are staying at The Reef you are better off cooking your own food since they have stovetops, cookware, utensils, dishwasher, salt & pepper. Laundry facilities on 2nd floor are free but their dryers only dry every 5 minutes so you are stuck waiting there forever. Had a great time during our stay and we can’t wait to go back.

Our room in the REEF left a lot to be desired. Handles were falling off, outlets didn't work, we went to open the dishwasher and the door fell off. Both in terms of housekeeping, and general maintenance it has been poorly maintained. We were very disappointed, especially considering the price we paid. The pools and other offerings were good, but it just felt like we were at a massive all-inclusive, but you had to pay for everything.
