Guestrooms also feature low-flow showerheads, toilets, and sink aerators to reduce water consumption. LED ceiling lights are located throughout the property.

Biological pest controls are used in lieu of chemicals with all landscaping endeavors, while vermicomposting reduces the amount of green-waste from kitchen areas. By-products are then used as a nutrient rich organic fertilizer within herb and vegetable gardens. Waste cooking oil is collected and processed into biodiesel fuel, and wet waste from kitchens go to pig farmers for feed in an effort to reduce landfill waste. Disposable containers are also made from biodegradable corn-based products.
