We are currently staying at the hotel until Monday but I wanted to write a review now before I forget! The staff so far have been amazing. From a brilliant check in with Joseph on reception, who was so welcoming, friendly/ couldn't have done more for us, to Catherine on reception this morning. Catherine has been superb and went above and beyond this morning when we requested to change rooms, she is a real asset to the hotel. We are excited to have 2 more nights here for my birthday at this wonderful hotel - everything has been fantastic so far.

Magical Christmas Stay
We always stay at this beautiful hotel when visiting Edinburgh for the rugby as it is in a great location and has gorgeous rooms and great facilities We decided to come for some Christmas shopping and were absolutely delighted to be given a fantastic complimentary upgrade. Our suite was stunning and the views of Edinburgh Castle from it were breathtaking . The reason that we keep returning to this hotel is the great friendly staff and also the fantastic lounge area and delicious breakfast. Special thanks to Emma on front desk. Thank you for a most memorable and amazing stay. We will return in March as there is nowhere in Edinburgh as good as the Caledonian.

Birthday Stay at the Caledonian
I had the most wonderful stay at the Caledonian Hotel last weekend for my birthday, from start to finish it was just perfect. Joseph at reception checked us in and showed us up to our suite which was absolutely stunning. A bottle of Prosecco and a card were waiting in the room which was such a lovely and thoughtful surprise. After a refreshing swim and jacuzzi at the Spa, we dined in the Court which was brilliant. Lucas and his team did a great job of looking after us and ensured our meal was a memorable one (special thanks also to Joel!). The singer also did a great job of entertaining us whilst we were there. We then finished off our evening in the Caley Bar which has recently been refurbished and looked incredible! Next morning, breakfast was really tasty and again, staff were amazing throughout. On checking out, Catherine ensured everything went smoothly before we headed off for the day. All in all, I would highly recommend this amazing hotel in the heart of Edinburgh, not only for its gorgeous interiors but for the wonderful staff who create the most amazing memories for guests. Definitely a birthday I shall remember! Thank you ❤️

Dog friendly.
Lovely stay. We even took our fur baby with us. Staff really friendly. The food was top notch at the court and then to end the evening we went to the caley bar which has recently been renovated. I liked the wee touches the animal salt and pepper shaker to a tree Special mentiones who made our stay the best are Linda from concierge, Emma from front of house, Sandra from the spa, Nigel from maintenance and Elena from the Court Each of these staff made our stay. From Linda recommending dog friendly activities, to the love Sandra showed our four legged friend, from Elena recommending good food at the court. I just want to say thank you.

I joined friends in The Lounge as they were guests. Reception staff wonderful (Laura deserves special mention) and all other staff I interacted with were charming.
