I’ve stayed in this group of hotels so many times, and the staff are always friendly, but this time at The Alex really exceeded all my expectations. First of all, thank you for the room upgrade, free breakfast, early check-in and the box of chocolates at check-out. Even without all of that, I can say Simon and Sofia are the best receptionists we’ve ever met. We’ve been travelling so much over the years, and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had in terms of friendliness and kindness from the staff. It doesn’t cost much to be kind, and they really made a difference. Thank you so much — you made our stay 100 out of 10. Now, the rooms: fantastic, spacious, spotlessly clean, and you have everything you need. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety. The hotel is in a perfect location. It’s my favourite one from the whole group. We will be back and already looking forward to it. Please keep the same level of service!

Simon is exceptional. He helps us in all we need.
The hotel is located in one of the nicest areas in the city, we have to look for the nearest hotel and we found this excellent place. The staff is outstanding specially Simon, he is very pleasant and professional he help us with the coffee machine that we could mange to having working.

Night in Dublin.
Lovely night in the Alex. Staff were so friendly..especially Simon from Chile!! And also the receptionists from Granada and Spain. Will definitely be back.

Great location and excellent service
We had a great experience here. We flew in from the US so we arrived tired and ready for a shower. We checked in early (around 10am). We had reserved an early check in for 40 Euros before we arrived. Simon was at the front desk and took very good care of us. The room was big by European standards and was quiet even though our window faced a pub. The location is right in the middle of downtown near Trinity College.

We Will Definitely Return
We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Cozy atmosphere, lovely staff and everything perfectly clean. Would definitely come back!
