Elegant venues sprinkle the gorgeous, platinum west coast of Barbados at this stunning resort on a prime 750-foot white-gold stretch of beach. Artfully blending European and Mediterranean characteristics with the magic of the Caribbean, Tamarind is vibrant in its colorful assortment of courtyards tucked away in secluded dens found throughout the resort. Colonnaded buildings with cherry-red tile roofs are faintly visible from crannies in the beautiful emerald greenery.
Take a dip in one of three on-site swimming pools, fall into a spell with a relaxing massage at the resort's intimate spa, or try your hand at a variety of complimentary non-motorized water sports. Kids will adore the Flying Fish Kids' Club, which provides all the entertainment any child could ever ask for. Experience waterskiing, banana boating, pool volleyball, snorkeling, sailing, boogie boarding, kayaking, windsurfing, and paddle boarding in comfortable, temperate weather. Practice the long ball with a round of golf on handsomely-cropped greens at Royal Westmoreland or Apes Hill, two magnificent 18-hole championship golf courses.
Allow a friendly concierge to arrange amazing island adventures for you and your family, including catamaran cruises, rugged safari tours, labor-free shopping trips, and glass-bottomed boat rides. Visit St. Nicholas Abbey, one of the three remaining Jacobean mansions in the Western Hemisphere, or take a solar-powered electric tram and enjoy spectacular views of sparkling pools, hanging stalactites, and gorgeous limestone caves.

Eat your fill with an assortment of breads, muffins, and pastries, as well as more traditional breakfast items and local Bajan favorites like flying fish, fried plantains, and pumpkin and corn fritters. Rilaks Deck is another delightful option. This South Beach Miami-inspired outdoor lounge serves light snacks and cocktails in a festive ambiance. Not ready to re-open - awful for families
NOT recommended for families. Check in time is a ‘guidance’ we are sat in reception at 7pm with no room for the children to sleep in. We have resorted to putting the children to sleep on the reception sofa’s. Awful manager that has no backbone/urgency or authority

Tamarind, fabulous hotel, great food great location
We have just enjoyed a 2 week stay at Tamarind Hotel Barbados, this newly renovated hotel has been done to a very high standard. We stayed in room 301, which is an oceanfront suite and in our opinion (and in most of the staff opinion) was one of the best in the hotel, we enjoyed views from windows on both sides of our room, and waking up to the Caribbean Sea, lapping on the shore, was just pure joy. The hotel does a dine around programme which was for us an added bonus as we got to experience hotels for a day. The Tamarind was wonderfully clean and the Bajan hospitality was shown warmly by every single member of staff we encountered. The food at the Tamarind was particularly wonderful, Chef Ramon is one of the best chefs we have ever met Raj and his management team should be proud of this amazing hotel and we would recommend this to anyone thinking about booking a hotel in Barbados Members of staff who went above and beyond in service for us were : Ray, Dion, SherriAnn, Asha, Nathan, Kernelle, and Merica

Loved it
We absolutely loved our stay at the tamarind. Rooms were beautiful and clean,. The service was beyond our expectations. It’s unfortunate that there is no longer a beach due to the hurricane but the option of using the water taxi to get to other hotels was great. Food was great. They could offer more entertainment during the evening. Big shout out to ray, Dionne, ether, Nathan, crystal and Richard who made our stay impeccable

A wonderful Staycation
My husband and I recently did a staycation at the newly reopened and renovated Tamarind All Inclusive Resort in Barbados, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was quick, smooth, and welcoming. The property itself is beautifully laid out, relaxing, and stunning. The staff truly stood out—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Our room was also a highlight; it was spacious, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the food, but the absolute highlight was breakfast. Having our morning meal with direct sea views was a deeply calming and relaxing experience. There is truly nothing better than waking up to those beautiful sea views—it was the perfect cap to our vacation.I would highly recommend Tamarind for anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway.
