Great Family hotel in the best location
Everything was great. Hotel room is clean, housekeeping staff was wonderful, front desk. Staff was also wonderful. Can’t beat the location as it is right across from a mall. The restaurant on property is actually decent. My only complaint was that the mattress was not as plush as I would’ve liked it, and my room was not ready until 4 PM instead of the normal 3pm. I would have preferred disposable water bottles than the reusable bottles they provided as the reusable water bottles are very difficult to clean because the opening was so small. If they are going to keep using the reusable ones, it would be nice if they would at least get ones that we can wash.

Paradise in Honolulu
Enjoyed an incredible stay at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel and Beach Resort. This is my second stay at the property and it’s always been a delight. Upon arrival Susan the manager was incredible in accommodating me arriving an entire day early from Tokyo due to my confusion with the time zone difference. Susan really set up a precursor to the positive experience and stay I had and even personally escorted me to my room. She made me feel extremely special and welcomed. As a former high end luxury Hotel manager myself I can say Susan is a real gem and needs to be promoted! People like Susan in the service industry are rare to find and irreplaceable. As to the property the Sheraton Waikiki sits in the heart of Waikiki strip where there are endless shopping and dining options. Everything from popular streetwear to luxury goods and fast food to fine dining are available at arms reach. From the moment you arrive and stroll into the enclosed but open air lobby you’ll feel obligated to let loose and enter into the Hawaiian state of mind and vibe. The property provides a warm and safe environment and is perfect for solo travelers, couples or family traveling. There are countless souvenir shops in the lobby along with a convenient family mart type store that closes late. Highlighted amenities include an adult only infiniti pool that offers an endless view into the Pacific Ocean and also an additional outdoor pool for families with children. Parking is available for a fee but I traveled by Uber conveniently everywhere. I must say returning to the hotel every time from my daily/nightly explorations gave me a proud sense I stayed there. As for the rooms they were recently renovated and the upgraded suite I stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. My suite offered immaculate sweeping views of the beach, ocean and Diamond Head. Waking up every morning to clear shallow blue water with surfers and hearing the waves from the balcony was like heaven. If you’re lucky you can even see sea turtles in the water which I did! I felt truly like I was living in paradise. I really loved my stay at the hotel and will be sure to return. Also a special shout out to Lilia another friendly and patient manager who I had a very pleasant interaction with who assisted me with my inquiries during my stay and Carlos my waiter from Rumfire who had a great sense of humor with some friends I dined with. If it’s your first time visiting Honolulu or you’ve never stayed at this property before I highly recommend you do so you can have the same great experience I did. What a pleasure it was! Thank you Sheraton Waikiki and your staff for making it an enjoyable and memorable stay.

Stay of a lifetime.
I wanted to take a moment to recognize someone truly exceptional at the Sheraton Waikiki. When I travel to Oahu—as an Ambassador member with roughly 130 nights in Marriott properties this year—the Sheraton Waikiki is the only place I stay. The primary reason is simple: the level of customer service I receive there is unmatched, and that is largely because of Dalton Lee. Dalton is by far the best and kindest bellman I have ever encountered at any Marriott worldwide. He consistently goes above and beyond his role, not just providing outstanding service but bringing genuine warmth, professionalism, and care to every interaction. Over time, he has become more than a familiar face—he has become a friend, and someone who makes the Sheraton Waikiki feel like a true second home. In a year of extensive travel and countless hotel stays, Dalton stands out in an extraordinary way. I hope Marriott understands what a remarkable asset he is to the Sheraton Waikiki and to the brand as a whole. His presence is a major reason I remain loyal to this property and continually look forward to returning. Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge someone who genuinely deserves it.

Thanks Trina!
Trina at the elite gift shop is a perfect fit! She embodies true aloha and hospitality. As a Titanium Elite, I typically get “recognized” to hit quota but her genuine personality is unmatched.
