  Amazing

  Amazing people great facilities room was amazing and the weather was perfect. The cleanliness was also notable always clean towels sheets water was full everything was awesome

  Great facilities and location but.......

  There's a lot to like about the hotel, there's plenty of space with lively pools and quieter areas. The evening entertainment is generally decent,there's a wide selection of restaurants and the bar and door staff were universally great. However the problem is the inconsistency. We went to several of the restaurants more than once and each time the experience was different - sometimes appetizers, sometimes a random cocktail, mostly the waiting team were great but were also quite capable of forgetting a couple in favour of a larger table. The room was cleaned every day but one, turndown seemed to happen every other night and the mini bar was refilled randomly. Our biggest issue though was the value for money being in the preferred area. The only genuine benefit we found was breakfasting in Olio which was lovely. The preferred pool areas are nice but not overwhelmingly so. As for our butler, I've just read the review below and realise that this is going to look like the other half of the couple posting, it's genuinely not!! Alfredo was also our butler but I have no idea what he looks like. In ten days, we got regular generic messages and, on one occasion, a message suggesting he was trying to find us (day 6 or 7). We messaged him twice, once to replace a broken hairdryer which took 48 hours to sort and once to refill the mini bar which was quicker. There is no booking in the restaurants so I'm genuinely mystified as to the butlers role? We've stayed at this hotel before and, if they could sort out the inconsistencies, we'd consider it again but there's a lot of other options out there!

  Can’t ever get customer services to help

  I’ve been trying to get in touch with the hotel for 10 days. 6 unanswered emails, multiple instagram messages, I called and the main ‘in house’ team could t help and said ‘wait a second’ then the call dropped. All I wanted was to know if the swim up gets sunshine (reviews say not all day) and check if I should switch rooms. If the service is this bad when you’re not there yet, it doesn’t bode well.

  Couples vacation

  This was my first all inclusive experience. I loved it! I enjoyed the adults only atmosphere. The service was great. Our Butler Almonte went above and beyond and was very informative and easy to understand. The highlight of our week was the couples massage & the cabana we rented on the beach. The food was a 7/10 but the swim up bars in the pool were a 10/10

  Preferred club not worth the extra money.

  We had a beautiful room in the preferred section. The hotel was dated, but generally clean. We enjoyed the entertainment if we got a chance to see it. It was a long wait for a table at the restaurants. Normally when you pay the extra for the preferred section, a butler takes care of you that way. Not in our case. We had a butler, Alfredo, but rarely saw him unless there was a problem. Thankfully we were able to grab a couple of chairs at the beach every day because there seems to be plenty of them. We didn't bother asking the butler to reserve them. Alfredo finally got ahold of us on whatsapp a couple days before we left and said he was organizing a "special dinner" for the people he was looking after (?) the next night and that he would get ahold of us the next day with the details when I asked where and what time. We also asked if we could have breakfast delivered to our room the next morning (we had never asked him for anything before this) and he said of course, just send him the orders. I did, and then asked for it to be delivered at 9:30. "no problem" The next morning at 8:30 and while I was sleeping, we have someone banging on the door with room service. My husband told him we asked it to be delivered at 9:30 and the gentleman just kept pointing to a piece of paper saying "no, it was for 8:30". My husband was getting angry and said "if my wife wasn't still sleeping, I would get her phone to show you the message she sent with the time". An hour later, breakfast showed up and as I predicted, was wrong. We just gave up. We spent a lot of the day in our room relaxing, and starting to pack because we were leaving the next day. We went to the beach for about 2 1/2 hours then came back to our room. Naturally we heard nothing from our butler. So we went to dinner like we did every other night and when we got back to the room, my husband sent a message to Alfredo, telling him not to worry, we got supper on our own like we did every other night. Alfredo said that he was looking all over for us. Yeah, right. Alfredo told us he'll organize someone to come and collect our bags to bring them down. I told him I already did it. All in all, while we might try a Secrets again, it won't be this one. It's one big sales pitch. It became a joke between a few of us to avoid the blue shirts with the "U" on it.
