We have traveled to many Secrets resorts including Maroma, Akumal, Playa Mujeres, Cap Cana, Royal Beach, and Tides but Secrets Playa Blanca was by far the best we have experienced to date. The service from every single person in every single role at this resort is incredible. They clearly put a very heavy focus on delivering top quality service and making every guest feel important. Every person we interacted with seemed to go above to make our stay as perfect as it could be and at the top of that list were our butlers Eddy and Rafa, who totally exceeded our expectations. Our Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean Front room in building 1 was very spacious and comfortable, with plenty of closet and storage space for our things. The bathroom was also very spacious with double sink vanity, rain shower, and soaker tub. The balcony included a seating area and hot tub and gorgeous ocean views. The resort grounds are beautiful and lush with tons of huge plants creating many areas that feel intimate and private. The beach is the softest white sand with no rocks, coral, or seaweed. The lounge chairs are super comfortable and we never had a problem finding one available. There are also several Bali beds on the beach that are available to rent but they are all crammed very tightly together so didn’t appeal to us at all. There are several pools around the property but the only ones we visited were the Preferred pool and the Jungle pool. This is one resort where it is definitely worth it to book a preferred room as the preferred lounge and pool are amazing. The pool is quite large, warm, and has plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Alejandro was the pool concierge while we were there and he was fantastic! He could always find us a spot and would move the umbrella throughout the day to keep me in the shade. Beyond the standard bar service (which was also fantastic), you also get refreshing towels (that come with a little face and neck massage) and offers to clean your glasses. We reserved a Bali bed around the Jungle pool one day and it was beautiful. The pool winds around in a cool shape and there are huge trees and plants everywhere, creating shade and privacy around the Bali beds and the pool. Daniel provided amazing bar and food service for us that day and recommended a tequila I hadn’t tried before that turned out to be delicious. We are major foodies and really appreciate good food and drinks on vacation. Drinks were very well made and consistent between bars and bartenders. The food and service were incredible at all of the restaurants, including the buffet. The highlight for us was Portofino, where Jordy offered several very helpful recommendations and provided exemplary service. Overall, this resort exceeded all expectations for us. There was not one single thing (not even a tiny nit picky thing) that wasn’t absolutely perfect. If you are considering visiting this resort, do it! You won’t be disappointed.

Retreat at Secrets
This hotel was an absolute 10/10 and perfect for couples. From start to finish, it felt like a truly relaxing retreat with some of the best service we’ve experienced. Our concierge, Bernardo, was incredible and honestly made the stay. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and I would absolutely stay here again because of him alone. From the moment you step onto the property, everything is immaculately clean, smells amazing, and feels welcoming. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which really added to the overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy exceptional service.

Your stay at Secrets Playa Blanca
Our stay at Secrets Playa Blanca Cancun was absolutely flawless from start to finish. The resort itself is stunning—beautifully designed, serene, and impeccably maintained—but what truly made this experience unforgettable was the service. Duran & Demi, our butlers, were beyond exceptional. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism went above and beyond anything we’ve experienced before. Every request was anticipated, every detail handled seamlessly. It genuinely felt like effortless luxury. Service was impeccable, food and drinks were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed, elegant, and truly adults-only. This is the kind of place where you feel cared for without ever feeling interrupted. Highly recommend Secrets Playa Blanca—and if you can, request Duran & Demi. They elevate the entire experience to another level.

An unforgettable getaway
We came to this Secrets Resort for a wedding and the experience was amazing! The food, experiences and staff made this a very memorable trip for us. We don't usually do repeat stays anywhere but this may be an exception for us. Our concierge Belen was incredibly helpful. She messaged us everyday asking if we needed anything, and gave us schedules for what events were happening. She personally made sure our clothes were steamed and cleaned for the wedding, and in general went above and beyond for us even when she wasn't physically there at the resort. The only negative thing I have to say is that when we got there we were kind of expected to find our room by ourselves. We got driven to the building on a golf cart, but we were just dropped off. Other members of our party were walked to their rooms and given tours of them. This did not happen for us. It actually took us a little while of walking around to just find our room. Other than that our stay was phenomenal and I'd wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone coming to party or relax.

We would especially like to thank our butlers Eddy & Rafael, who truly went above and beyond during our stay. They helped with all of our reservations, kept us informed daily about resort activities and events, and surprised us with thoughtful touches that made our vacation feel extra special. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine kindness made us feel completely taken care of from start to finish 💙🌴 The food was amazing, with incredible variety and quality at every restaurant!! Overall we loved our experience 🌴✨
