    Great Stay

    Great resort and prob best food I’ve had at an all inclusive resort. Water was clear except for the floating seaweed. Beach a little rocky so would wear water shoes. Staff was above and beyond!

    Paradise

    We have just enjoyed a 2 week vacation at Secrets Akumal. It was paradise. The food excellent. The room always cleaned spotless by Alicia and smelt amazing. The pools are well kept and the surrounding jungle are exceptional. The wild life makes you realise that you are in Mexico. We wish to recognise Maris at the coco cafe, Edwardo at the Sports bar. We cannot forget Hector Jose and Antonio at the quiet pool. They made are holiday complete.

    Elopement Wedding Amazing Trip

    First of all this place is amazing. My husband and I got married here with only the two of us. We had a swim out suite, non-preferred. It was wonderful. No issue with cold water or mosquitoes. We used it often and enjoyed room service breakfast there several times. The check in process was enjoyable. They provided the cold towels and champagne while we sat in a lovely area and checked in. We arrived early, and they were able to get us into our room with no wait. Our building concierge was Luis and he was so thoughtful. He sent out a text to us daily showing the day’s activities and helped us with reservations. The room was great. I loved the shower and the little cubby in the wall for your room service orders left in if you can’t/don’t want to get to the door. The food was very good. The breakfast buffet at Market Cafe was out of this world. The hibachi show was wonderful. Our favorite server was Gil! The entertainment at this resort is so good. We enjoyed the shows every night with the exception of one, and we regretted that! Javi, Carolina and all of the entertainment staff was so much fun! We truly enjoyed it. Don’t miss the resort bike tour! It was a blast. Almost 5 miles round trip, but don’t let that scare you. It was an easy pace with breaks in some really cool areas. As avid bicycle riders, this was one of our favorite activities. Snorkling at the preserve down the beach was very good. We booked off the beach with Victor and had a great tour. Our guide even held my go pro to handle pics and videos so I could enjoy the snorkling. We did a fishing trip with Johnny in the Bass Pro hat on the beach. It was affordable and we caught 3 Mahi so quickly. We cut our trip short due to sea sickness but had we stayed out longer, I know it would have been a great day for fishing! We spent a lot of time at the swim up bar. Had a blast. We loved the fruit cart and ice cream cart! Some days they had a specialty drink, my favorite was the passion fruit daiquiris! Don’t miss the Tuna Show! It was so cool. Get there about 15-30 min before it starts to get a seat! This place is just amazing. As far as our wedding, Williams Alcudia was our coordinator. I was so happy with him. He was so kind. He was very on top of everything. It seemed to me that he truly enjoys what he does and that shows. The wedding was a beautiful ceremony on the beach. I had my hair and makeup done with Reyna in the spa and she did a wonderful job in making me feel beautiful on my wedding day. We opted for the Romantic Dinner on the beach afterwards and our server Ricardo, that evening was great. One of the best parts of dinner was a gentleman walking from the beach and singing to us and playing guitar. He didn’t work for the resort or anything and it was just wonderful. We used the resort photographer for pictures and they were wonderful as well. This place is incredible. There is nothing they haven’t thought of. You will not be disappointed!

    Must Visit!

    Our week at Secrets Akumal was magical! The food was delicious, the property was immaculate, and the staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. We would go back tomorrow if we could!

    Delicious, tropical, calm kind and all around paradise.

    My mom and I had an amazing trip together here. The people are so attentive and kind; the food is amazing; the atmosphere is relaxing if that's what you're into OR energetic and full of activities and entertainment - especially down by the beach. Jose and Abraham at pool 2 were the absolute best - keeping us happy and shaded and thirst quenched. I honestly hope I can get back again soon ❤️🤞🏼 Had an amazing massage from Nely at the spa, as well.
