Lovely stay
First time in Santorini a lovely island. Transfer time from the airport was around 25 minutes checked in at reception a very warm welcoming in our junior suite & unpacked all within 20 minutes. We had a ground floor suite very nice plenty of room & the cleaning lady kept it spotless. There are two good sized pools with a further small pool & jacuzzi. Never had any problems getting sun beds by the pool there were always spare beds available throughout the day. The poolside bar offers a wide selection of drinks & snacks are taken there throughout the day. Breakfast & evening meals are taken opposite where you have the choice to eat in or dine outside. Very was plentiful & well presented for buffet style food. The beach is located across the road where there are loads of free sun beds to use for guests staying at hotel? The grounds around the hotel are kept so clean never once see any rubbish laying around. The gardener does a great job of tendering to the palm trees & lovely colourful shrubs & bushes. There is also a table tennis table down the stairs from reception, also the gym is fine for a workout with rowing machine, cross trainer weights & treadmills with a coupe of spinning bikes. One suggestion I would say is to have the steps entering the pool painted a different colour as it was quite awkward to see them on entry & when getting out. Overall we had a truly fantastic relaxing time here in Santorini we done a couple of trips organised by by reception thanks again for a great stay keep up the good work.

Our happy place
We've been here 3 times over 6 years and will come again. It's got better as the dining and breakfast area has been really nicely refurbished. Great location for all the bars and eating places. Eat a lot at the pool bar too during the day and for pre and post dinner drinks. Really pleasant to sit in the evening. We love it!

A lovely hotel next to a beautiful beach
Just got back from a fantastic 7 night stay at the Santo Miramare. Must say what a fantastic hotel this is. It’s situated right opposite the beach with sun beds and umbrellas available for hotel guests. First impressions of the hotel was good. It’s extremely clean and well maintained. We were greeted by two very friendly receptionists who made us feel very welcome. We stayed in room 337 which is a junior suite. The room itself was bright and again extremely clean. Everything was perfect from the shower/bathroom to the bed which I must say was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in while on holiday abroad. The hotel is either a B&B or half board basis. The restaurant area is clean and there was always a good selection of food. It’s nice to have a proper fried egg for breakfast, and again the breakfast selections did not disappoint. The waiting staff were very friendly which made the whole dining experience enjoyable. The hotel also has a pool bar which is open until 1am in the morning. Again very friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. I would particularly mention the young waitress Brasilda who was fantastic, she always gave a warm welcome and had a smile on her face at all times. There is a lovely pool area with two main pools, a children’s pool and a jacuzzi type pool. Yes there can be a problem with people placing towels to reserve sun beds and umbrellas by the pool. But despite other reviews we had no problem getting a sun bed by the pool. Obviously some guests want specific sun beds. But as I say we never had any issues. If you want a nice relaxing break I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Should we ever return to Santorini we would chose this hotel again

Not great if you want a relaxing pool holiday.
Actually at hotel at the moment and the sun bed/umbrella fiasco is a joke. People up at 6am putting towels on sunbeds and not appearing until lunchtime. Hotel have notices up saying towels will be removed after 45 minutes. This is not enforced. It took me asking reception 3 times before towels removed. If you want a relaxing pool holiday avoid like the plague unless out of season. Everyone British, that I spoke to, was also moaning about the sunbed and umbrella situation. NOT GOOD. Most 4 star hotels we go to deal with the situation but not this one. Mentioned loads on trip advisor but avoided by hotel staff as I notice there has been no response to this gripe. It's the same when staying here, not enforced and not good. Who wants to be running down to the pool every day at 6am when they are on holiday? Poor show santo miranare resort. It makes all the good points like hard working staff disappear. Could easily be resolved by following through on what your notices all around the pool say, just remove the towels, but staff do not seem prepared to do this.

A Beautiful Hotel, Island, and Holiday🌈
What an incredible stay at this hotel for our first visit to Santorini. We loved every second of staying in this hotel. The food options and quality were incredible, including gluten free options which was a must! The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, comfy beds, lovely towels, GREAT air condition, a fridge and a big balcony. There’s 4 lovely pools, and a pool bar as well with a huge array of drinks and snacks. The hotel also has a private beach with sunbeds and straw umbrellas on the black sand beach. Whilst we didn’t venture out as it was very much a holiday to relax, the hotel offers loads of tourist options much cheaper than the holiday companies/providers. In hindsight I’m a bit gutted we didn’t go up to Oía nonetheless we had such an incredible time away. We would REALLY recommend this hotel to anyone trying Santorini for the first time or making a return trip. We had such an incredible break and would 100% come back. Thank you🌊🐠🐙🦀🐚⛵️☀️
